Update on Fort Jackson Muslim soldiers on alleged poisoning
Back on Feb. 18th Erick Stakelbeck at CBN broke the story of the alleged poison plot by 5 Muslim soldiers at Fort Jackson, S.C. Since then the story disappeared. Now he has an update.
Rep. Joe Wilson: “Fort Jackson Five” Removed From Active Duty
CBN News first broke the news back on February 18th (updates here, here and here) that an investigation of five Muslim soldiers in the 09 Lima translator program was underway at the South Carolina military post over food poisoning allegations. Here is what Rep. Wilson told McClatchy:
A South Carolina congressman said Friday that five Muslim soldiers at Fort Jackson, S.C., had been removed from active duty, and four of them discharged from the Army, in connection with an ongoing probe into alleged threats to poison food at the large South Carolina base.
Republican Rep. Joe Wilson, who sits on the House Armed Services Committee, said the soldiers’ laptops had been seized and were being analyzed. Congressional officials with knowledge of the case said cell phones and Arabic writings had been confiscated as well.
Wilson said the soldiers were discharged because of unrelated incidents of minor theft.
In his first public comments on the case, Wilson said FBI forensics experts were working with the Army’s Criminal Investigation Division in the probe.
“The initial investigation confirmed that (the five soldiers) had not made any effort to poison food and that allegations about their disloyalty were inaccurate,” Wilson told McClatchy Newspapers. “There was further investigation. I have not received any word of it being over. I think they would tell me.”
It’s good news, obviously, that the men have apparently been cleared of making threats to poision food at Fort Jackson. But the fact that their laptops were seized and cell phones and Arabic writings confiscated raises eyebrows, to say the least.

Muslim Soldiers Reportedly Behind Poisoning at Fort Jackson, SC
Another nail in the coffin regarding Muslim soldiers. Just saying, how can they be trusted?
From CBN:CBN Exclusive: Five Muslim Soldiers Arrested at Fort Jackson in South Carolina
CBN News has learned exclusively that five Muslim soldiers at Fort Jackson in South Carolina were arrested just before Christmas. It is unclear whether the men are still in custody. The five were part of the Arabic Translation program at the base.
The men are suspected of trying to poison the food supply at Fort Jackson.
A source with intimate knowledge of the investigation, which is ongoing, told CBN News investigators suspect the “Fort Jackson Five” may have been in contact with the group of five Washington, DC area Muslims that traveled to Pakistan to wage jihad against U.S. troops in December. That group was arrested by Pakistani authorities, also just before Christmas.
Coming as it does on the heels of November’s Fort Hood jihadist massacre, this news has major implications.
Fox News also reports on this:
snip….The suspects were part of a Arabic translation program called “09 Lima” and use Arabic as their first language, two sources told Fox News. Another military source said they were Muslim.
Grey would not confirm or deny the sources’ information.

Colonel Allen West on the enemy – Islam, a political ideology
Colonel Allen West answers the question that so many in western civilization refuse to wake up and smell the koran. Islam isn’t a religion, it’s an ideology.
“You need to get into the Koran…and understand their precepts. This is not a perversion. They are doing exactly what this book says.”

In Nashville a Vanderbilt Islamic Professor tells the truth about Islam and the local media doesn’t cover his statement that ‘Islam says that homosexuality is a capital crime under Islamic law’. Ever wonder why there are no homosexuals in Iran? It’s because they kill ‘teh gays’! Over 4,000 have been killed under shariah law. Yet, a cross is scrawled on a Nashville mosque and the media is all over it as if it’s a hate crime. But Robert Spencer tells us what is probably the truth of the message:
Blaming a local news report on a suspicious Muslim compound for the vandalism of a mosque, Nashville Somalis otherwise seem confused about stuff:
“Muslims Go Home” and a Crusade-style cross were scrawled across the front of Al-Farooq Islamic Center on Nolensville Road, says Salaad Nur, a spokesman. (…)
That right there is suggestive of fakery. The Crusades, as we know, are very much on the minds of Muslims, but it is highly doubtful that the racist Tennessee rednecks (so beloved of mainstream media myth) who are supposed to have done this would know or care what a “Crusade-style cross” looks like. The cross that was painted on the mosque doesn’t look like the crosses you see in the local churches in Nashville.
snip….That’s why CAIR and others have not hesitated to stoop even to fabricating “hate crimes.” They want and need hate crimes against Muslims, because they can use them to shift the focus away from Muslims as perpetrators of violence to Muslims as victims of violence, needing special concessions and privileges to protect them from that violence. “Hate crimes” are also useful to Islamic pressure groups as weapons to intimidate people into remaining silent about the jihad threat.
Was this one faked? I don’t know. But it certainly smells.

Iraq trying to rewrite history
Will Muslims ever stop with their assault on the ‘Joos’? I am so sick of ISLAM and it’s followers. A Christian nation (that’s the United States, contrary to Obama’s statement that the U.S. is not a Christian nation)liberates Muslims from a murdering tyrant and these Muslims revert to their same old perverted culture of destruction. We expend our soldier’s blood and sacrifice to help these people and all they can do is turn on the ‘Jooooos’. And then Muslims wonder why Christians are suspicious and distrustful of them. This reprehensible action is what turns Christians against tyrannical Islamic states. This reprehensible action is what promotes the idea in U.S. that we all would be better off just nuking every Islamic state off the earth. I’m sick and tired of these people and their 7th century beliefs.
Here’s the latest move by those ‘peace’ loving Muslims in Iraq.
Iraq wants to turn ancient Jewish tomb into mosque
Some 2,500 years ago the prophet Ezekiel presented his Prophecy of Dry Bones, which according to various interpretations hailed the salvation of the Jewish people. According to recent reports, Iraq is currently trying to remove the Jewish traces from the prophet’s tomb and turn it into a mosque.
Ezekiel the Prophet, whose prophesy was recorded in the Book of Ezekiel, lived in Babylon at the time of Solomon’s temple. Tradition has it that he is buried in the village of Al Kilf, south of Baghdad, and followers of the three monotheistic religions continue to visit his tomb to this day.
“I received information from a senior Iraqi scholar pertaining to the local authorities’ intention of turning the tomb into a mosque under the guise of ‘preservation’ of the holy site,” says Professor Shmuel Morre, former head of the Arabic Language and Literature Department in the Hebrew University.
“The man who provided me with the information stressed that the Iraqi antiquities department has been under heavy pressure to erase any proof of the Jews’ connection to Iraq,” he notes.
Iraq also contains the tombs of the Ezra the Scribe, the Prophet Jonah and King Zedekiah. According to Prof. Morre, who himself was born in Iraq, his colleague informed him that local authorities have already began erasing Hebrew inscriptions off Ezekiel’s tomb in order to turn the site into a mosque.
For hundreds of years the tomb has been under the care of leaders of the Jewish community in Iraq.
Currently the country contains only eight Jews. The rest have become Muslim or are in hiding for fear of being murdered by terrorists upon embarking on a Jewish pilgrimage.
There’s this story along with this news about Iraq’s new dictator. Even though this is from the CATO Institute which was against the Iraq war from the beginning and pretty much has had nothing good to say about it there is some disturbing information in the story.
Barring Sunni candidates is not the only action by the Maliki government that has seemed high-handed. Over the past few months, the authorities in Baghdad have repeatedly cracked down on the Awakening Councils, the Sunni groups that the United States helped create and generously funded as part of the surge strategy in 2007 and 2008. The arrests of hundreds of Awakening Council members, including several prominent leaders, have fueled suspicions that Maliki aims to create a Shiite dictatorship and engage in payback for all the atrocities that Saddam’s regime committed against the Shiite population.
But signs of Maliki’s authoritarian tendencies are not confined to actions directed against the Sunni minority. Indeed, some of his actions suggest that he aims to be an equal opportunity autocrat. Over the past year, the government has harassed and attempted to muzzle the news media and anyone else it considers a critic. Officials have launched lawsuits against journalists and their employers for allegedly libelous (broadly construed) comments. The Maliki government also pushed through a law to close media outlets that “encourage” terrorism or violence. Even worse, that law imposes the same penalty for encouraging “tensions”—a vacuous category that essentially allows the government to ban media critics whenever it wishes.
If those measures weren’t enough, there are now new rules (with virtually unlimited discretion given to authorities who review the applications) to license television satellite trucks, censor books, and control internet cafes. Reuters concluded that such measures evoke memories of “the laws used to muzzle [the media] under Saddam Hussein.”
Maliki is certainly not yet as ruthlessly authoritarian as Saddam, but the trend is not encouraging. At a minimum, Iraq seems to be on the path to becoming what Fareed Zakaria aptly describes as an “illiberal democracy.” That outcome was hardly what U.S. leaders had in mind when they touted the Iraq mission as a success.
This is a result of a disconnected Obama foreign policy. Obama was not and never has been a supporter of the Iraq conflict. His response to this is neglect. Obama is more than happy to try to take credit for a successful surge that he opposed but is unwilling to continue what is needed to guide or coerce the Iraqi government to grow into a liberty loving government and society.

Political Correctness promoting Creeping Sharia in Minnesota town

From Atlas Shrugs – Imposing Sharia In America: Somali Muslims “out for blood” at Minnesota high school
Tensions mount at OHS | JEFFREY JACKSON, owatonna.com
Monday’s altercation between four white students and a group of Somali students — how many Somalis were actively involved is in dispute — ended with one of the white students going to the hospital. The student, a senior at OHS, spent the night in the hospital after medical personnel feared that he might have swelling on the brain.
The high school students and their parents spoke on the condition of anonymity, saying they feared further threats and violence if their names were made public.
Although the actual fight between the white students and the Somali students happened Monday, the parties agree that the roots of the fight can be traced back to a paper written for an English composition class earlier in the month.
The senior who ended up in the hospital on Monday was given an assignment to write a paper for the class and post it on the class’ blog for other students to read and comment on. He posted the paper on Friday, Nov. 6.He chose as his topic what he called “Somalian privileges” and wrote in his paper that the Somali students in the high school were allowed to “bend the rules.” As one example, he said that though most students weren’t allowed to wear hats in school, the Somali students routinely wore hats without being told to take them off.
Within a half hour, after the class had been dismissed, he was surrounded by a “pretty big group” of Somali students who had been given copies of the paper from other students in the class, the boy said. The Somalis were, the boy said, “pushing, yelling and asking questions” — specifically asking him if he had written the paper.
The boy, who is on work release allowing him to leave school early, left and went to the place where his mother works. A few hours later, the mother received a telephone call from one of the school’s vice principals who first informed the mother about the incident and about the paper that had been posted online.
“No threats were made,” OHS Vice Principal Julie Sullivan said Wednesday about the Nov. 6th incident. Sullivan did say that she was approached that day by several Somali students who were upset about what the boy had written on the class blog.
The next Tuesday — there were no classes on Monday — the boy and his mother met with Sullivan after the vice principal had called Monday evening requesting a meeting. At that meeting, Sullivan informed the pair that the boy was going to be suspended for four days because of what he had written in the paper.
“I was not happy for him writing that paper,” the mother said. But, she said, although the official paperwork says the boy was being suspended for “language and inappropriate comments” and that the vice president did talk “briefly” about the paper, the real reason the boy was suspended was concerns by the administration that the boy might be attacked if he remained in school.
“She mentioned that several times,” the mother said of Sullivan. “She said it was for his safety.”
What’s more, he said, on the weekend before the boy returned to school, the boy sent text messages to some Somali students — messages that Johnson characterized as “inflammatory.”
The boy’s mother acknowledged Wednesday that she had been told this week about the text messages, but said that the message was only that the boy was not going to apologize to the Somali students for what he had written in his paper.
Shortly after the boy returned to school Monday, the incident began. The boy was sitting with three of his friends in the school’s C Plaza when, he said, he was approached by a group of Somali students.
“They were out for blood,” one of his friends said.
The boys said that at least 30, perhaps as many as 40, Somali students were involved in the altercation. School officials dispute that number, saying that some of the Somalis who were there were bystanders who were watching the fight take place. Owatonna Police Chief Shaun LaDue, whose department is investigating the incident, said Wednesday that “no less than 20 people” were involved in some fashion in the incident.
There’s more to that story too – read it all.
Notice who is punished here. The victim! Let me think, what is in the area of Owatonna, MN. Ohhhh meat packing/processing plants. What a coincidence.

Want Jihad? Call 800-662-ISLAM
An arm of the Muslim Brotherhood (Islamic Circle of North America) now has billboards in Minneapolis this week.

From Jihad Watch:
They say they want to encourage dialogue via these billboards. Great. I’ll start. The billboard says that Islam is “the way of life of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus & Muhammad.” That is a reflection of the Islamic supremacist notion, rooted in the Qur’an (3:67, 5:116, 9:30, etc.), that the Biblical prophets taught Islam, and their messages were corrupted by their followers to create what we know of today as Judaism and Christianity. In this view, Judaism and Christianity have no legitimacy whatsoever: they are renegade, twisted, hijacked versions of the original Islam.
So my question is: How does ICNA hope to encourage dialogue by making a declaration at the outset that Judaism and Christianity are false, renegade religions? Wouldn’t it be more likely to encourage dialogue if ICNA, instead of simply trying to convert people to Islam (which is really what this call to “dialogue” is all about), acknowledged the supremacist aspects of some Islamic texts and teachings, and offered a way forward for Muslims that would blunt the potential of those supremacist texts and teachings to incite believers to hatred and violence?
Here’s a suggestion, how about a billboard decrying the terrorist activities of their fellow Muslims? How a billboard denouncing the suicide bombers killing and maiming people around the world in the name of Allah and Mohammad? How about a billboard pleading for Muslims around the world to end Muslim subjugation and violence against women? How about a billboard educating Muslims to be more tolerant of other religions instead of advocating death to kafirs?
None of this will of course happen since that is not the purpose of Islam. The purpose of these jihadist groups is to eliminate all opposition to their political ‘religion’.

Why on earth would Muslim leaders stand with the Victims at Ft Hood?
Why, because to them, the real victim of this massacre is the Muslim Shooter Nidal Malik Hasan. Instead of acknowledging there is a problem within their religion, Muslims always blame someone else. It’s all about them, how there’s a backlash against the Muslim community. How Muslims are the victims here, not those sad families who have just lost their loved one by this Islamic extremist. No sympathy from the Muslim community for all those families who have wounded family members, nope, it’s all about Muslims being the victims.
From Waco Trib (link via Gateway Pundit):
From Al Siddiq, president of the Islamic Center of Waco
Siddiq said what he has heard is that the Fort Hood shooter may be a convert to Islam. He said he thinks the problem some converts have is not based on the Islam religion, but on the resentment toward the U.S. government that they bring to their faith.
But then when you have a Commander in Chief who gives a news conference to address the massacre at Fort Hood and he talks for the first couple of minutes about the Tribal Nations Conference where he commends an attendee at the conference. Then once Obama finally starts to address the massacre what does Obama do? Well of course, Obama talks about himself:
There seems to be a connection between the narcissism of Obama and the continual victimhood of Muslim murderers.
At this time there are 13 deaths and 30 injured at Fort Hood. Keep these families in your prayers.

Ft Hood Shooter Major Malik Nadal Hasan said there should be more of the Little Rock attacks
Fox News interview with Col.(ret) Terry Lee who worked with Major Hasan. Here we have a Muslim convert, who believed that Muslims should stand up to the aggressors (apparently he meant the U.S.). After the attack on the Army Recruiting office in Little Rock, Ark. Hasan said he thought there should be more of these type of attacks. Remember, this is a guy who’s a psychiatrist treating troops with PTSD, alcohol and drug problems. Lee said that Hasan was pro-Obama and was looking for Obama to withdraw U.S. troops from Iraq and Afghanistan. When that didn’t happen he became more and more agitated. There were arguments with co-workers and Lee had thought Hasan was investigated by the military for his views and statements although by that time Lee had retired from the military. What Lee questions is why Hasan was transferred from Watler Reed to Fort Hood. Lee said that Hasan who hadn’t deployed before was now scheduled to deploy at the end of the year.
