Anarchists at War

The anarchists have been busy this week between ELF burning homes and the anti-war anarchists attacking military recruiting offices. Looks like the anti-war anarchists are trying to replay the 1960’s. Course, it helps that the anarchists from the ’60’s are college professors today teaching Anarchy 101 and are given a pass for their […]

This was a documentary produced for PBS’ “America at a Crossroads” series. But then PBS didn’t like the conservative partners nor the substance of the documentary so they refused to air it. “Inside Islam: Faith vs. Fanatics,” hosted by E.D. Hill, airs at 9 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 20, on the FOX News […]

Here’s a video biography of Fred D. Thompson, it gives a sketch of the evolution of FDT’s career.

I’m even going to shill for Steve Gill here. That alone worries me about myself. Gill’s book - The Fred Factor (no, I haven’t read it…..yet) - gives some context to Fred’s vote for […]

President’s Press Conference

I just listened to President Bush’s press conference where he announced the resignation of Secretary Donald Rumsfeld.  First, I like Donald Rumsfeld.  I liked watching his press conferences with the media.  I have been unhappy with how we have dealt with Al Sadr and his militias but I don’t know if that is Rumsfeld, Bush, […]

Bleepin’ Satellite Connection

13 July 2006

My satellite internet connection has been extremely unreliable lately.  Just spent an 1 1/2 hours trying to get connected.  Yesterday mornings post was a fluke, got that post  published about 2 seconds before I lost connectivity.  Tried in the early afternoon to no avail.  Then I was off to Fort Campbell for the July Eagle Remembrance […]

Lost Connection

FINALLY - got my internet connection back!  Late yesterday afternoon it just went poof!  On the one hand, having a satellite connection has been a god-send.  On the other hand, it sucks at times.  But when I think of the alternative (dial up at a reaaaalllly slow rate) guess I’m happy to have this option.

Times Square Billboard: Citizen or Criminal - you text your vote!

Heard about this on the Glenn Beck Radio show this morning.  The interesting thing was that someone with Beck's Show took this picture last Friday afternoon.  The vote numbers at that time: Citizens - 953 and Criminals - 10, 177.  Interesting considering this morning that same someone checked the numbers and the criminals vote was at […]

Tracie Lee Dean is a woman who doesn’t give up and her dogged persistence through apathetic and bore-headed bureaucrats finally paid off. After significant road blocks she finally found a responsive law enforcement officer and a helpful Shell station worker, as a result a young missing girl was recovered. Kudos to Tracie.

Tributes Through Tattooing

I know tattoos are something many in the different military services use to brand themselves with a particular ‘band of brothers’ or event. Looking at the tattoos fascinates me although I’d never get a tattoo myself. The tattoo of Capt. Michael Pretus is a work of art on his body.
Commemorating combat experience with a tattoo […]

This sounds extremely promising for those who suffer from MS.

The therapy targets immune system cells called T-cells. These malfunction in MS patients, producing inflammatory molecules that destroy the myelin sheath.
