This is what Obama wants. He wants to have total control over the internet, this is what it’s like in China and Iran. The government controls the internet and is able to restrict usage and access to sites. Americans don’t even want pornographic books banned at public and school libraries yet they are going to allow Obama and his Chicago thugs to control the internet? Do you (the American citizen) want Obama to determine what is true or false on the internet? That’s what Cass Sunstein, the Obama IT Czar, wants to do.

But today, things are different. After approximately seven months in office, President Obama controls, in varying degrees, General Motors, Chrysler, and a variety of financial services companies. He is seeking to control, among other things, the health care industry, the energy industry, and the amount of money that business executives are paid by their employers.

And now it appears that the President who ran the most successful, web-savvy political campaign in world history, wants to curtail what other people can do online.

Cass Sunstein, an American legal scholar and Harvard Law Professor, has been appointed by President Obama to head up the “White House Office Of Information And Regulatory Affairs.� His title is sufficiently broad and ambiguous, but he wields plenty of power. And with advance copies circulating of his new book “On Rumors: How Falsehoods Spread, Why We Believe Them, What Can Be Done,� Americans who still care about their rights to “freedom of speech� should be paying close attention.

snip….Perhaps most disturbing is Mr. Sunstein’s vision for the future of web content, as he argues for a so-called “notice and take downâ€? law. Under this provision, those who operate websites – - The Washington Post, radio stations, private bloggers, and perhaps even you, yourself -we would all be required “take down falsehoods upon noticeâ€? from the U.S. government.

If you think you don’t need to get involved yet, then just watch your freedoms fall by the wayside while you’re more interested in the life of aging rock star who was surrounded by accusations of pedophilia. Continue to not pay attention and leave it to ’someone else’ to protect your freedoms!

Obama controlling internet, Cass Sunstein IT Czar, White House office of information and regulatory affairs

Obama and Dhimmicrats want the US to move to government healthcare because of this supposed 46 million uninsured people in the United States. Notice they don’t say Americans. That’s because at least 9.7 million of the 46 million are non-citizens. The Census people don’t specify whether those are legal or illegal residents, but since we know there are at LEAST 10 million illegal aliens in this country, that number isn’t too big of a stretch.

If it isn’t bad enough that Obama and his Democrat cohorts want this country to dive down the cauldron to socialism for illegal aliens the rest of the 36.3 million are questionable too. The point to make with this is that these illegal aliens and legal immigrants still have healthcare (that we all are paying for), it’s just that they don’t have medical insurance. The use of emergency services at hospitals is immense and is costing taxpayers dearly every year. In fact this alone is bankrupting emergency rooms around the country.

Then we have those could pay for insurance but opt not to and hey, that’s their choice. Approximately 18 million uninsured are healthy and between the ages of 18 and 34. That leaves 18.3 million uninsured. Included in these uninsured are those over the age of 34 and earning in excess of $75,000 per year.

So, for less than 18.3 million residents or maybe Americans Obama and the Dhimmicrats want the US to move to government healthcare/insurance. It’s healthcare though, not insurance.

This is all about dependence on government. When there is dependence on government then government controls, not the people. Are you all really willing to give up your freedom and liberty for this shaman?

IBD Editorials – The Phantom Uninsured

The issue here is not providing health care, but who controls it. We believe health care is a matter between doctor and patient, not patient and bureaucrat. Obama says his plan is to ensure “that there is an option out there for people . . . where the free market fails.”

But the free market has not failed, except when it’s been overburdened by overregulation, mandates and litigation to the point that it is no longer free. Bleeding the patient didn’t work as a medieval medical remedy. Neither will bleeding the taxpayer and using bogus numbers to justify it.

Where is the lamestream media in questioning any of these statistics? AWOL!

A draft of the Kennedy bill was leaked over the weekend and Keith Hennessey (who is he?)has read and dissected the bill and provided a summary of some of the more salient points of the bill.

There’s the 15 things you need to know about the bill. Here’s number 7:

People from 150% of poverty up to 500% (!!) would get their health insurance subsidized (on a sliding scale). If this were in effect in 2009, a family of four with income of $110,000 would get a small subsidy. The bill does not indicate the source of funds to finance these subsidies.

Hennessey also bullets the effects this will have on responsible Americans who DO have health insurance.

Here’s a couple bullets (no expansion of Big Brother here):

# The Secretaries of Treasury and HHS would have unlimited discretion to impose new taxes on individuals and employers who do not comply with the new mandates.

# The Secretary of HHS could mandate that you provide him or her with “any such other information as [he/she] may prescribe.�

Hennessey has converted the leaked draft to a text file and a single Acrobat file making both files searchable which the leaked draft was not.

Kennedy Dodd Health Bill 2009, health insurance, health care,

I like to call it “Leftardism” but political madness is good descriptor too. Dr. Lyle H. Rossiter Jr.,M.D. wrote the book “The Liberal Mind: The Psychological Causes of Political Madness” (2008).

Ellis Washington teaches American Government at Savannah State University and in this WND article he writes about trying to prevent another generation of black students succumbing to the ideology of victimization.

While neither Dr. Rossiter nor myself postulate that all liberals are ipso facto clinically mad, there are many characteristics of liberalism that are associated with the classic symptoms of madness, including:

* creating and reinforcing perceptions of victimization;
* satisfying infantile claims to entitlement, indulgence and compensation;
* augmenting primitive feelings of envy;
* rejecting the sovereignty of the individual, subordinating him to the will of the government.

Whether you have a Ph.D. or a GED or fall somewhere in between, any government system or political philosophy based on taking trillions of taxpayer dollars and giving it to some lazy bum who didn’t earn it and doesn’t deserve it in my opinion is sheer madness – as is any political organization like the Democratic Party that achieves and seizes power by seeing people not as the Constitution’s framers saw people, as individuals (”We the People”), but uses them as a cynical means to an unholy end – using Machiavellian, Marxist and Alinsky tactics, divide people into warring factions: men against women, blacks against whites, Jews against Muslims, proper against the perverse, handicapped against able-bodied, workers against employers, straight against homosexuals, “the haves vs. the have nots.”

It’s all madness. Objectively speaking, liberalism is national genocide!

Makes absolute sense to me but then I’ve always thought those of the liberal persuasion (and we’re talking about those that truly believe the claptrap they’re spewing) have a mental disorder.

Zombietime has another expose´ of the filth and depravity of the Gay San Francisco community. Another street fair (sponsored by Miller Beer and it’s new multinational owner SABMiller) which is no more than an outlet of Gay depravity and exhibitionism. Zombietime has 2 versions to view this display. One is unedited and the other has the explicit images blurred. There’s plenty of warning so there’s no possibility you’ll view the wrong images.

This is the city that wouldn’t allow the Marine’s to film a promotional video but has no issue with the public sexual deviancy of their Gay population. After viewing some of these images it isn’t surprising why the Gay community continues to suffer the ravages of AIDS and rampant breakout of MRSA. Why the American taxpayer should be required to fund research and medical care for this irresponsible behavior is disgusting. Anyone who would want to visit or live in this depraved city needs serious intervention.

When is someone going to bring a modicum of sanity to NIH grants! This is a waste of taxpayer dollars and why am I not surprised that the word “Memphis” showed up.

U.S. Spends $1 Million Researching Syrians ‘Hooked on Hookahs’

For the last several years, U.S. taxpayers have spent more than $1 million to fund research on waterpipes and waterpipe use in studies being conducted at the Syrian Center for Tobacco Study, in Aleppo, Syria.

“We’ve done some studies in Syria just looking at the prevalence of it in the general population, and in average groups like college students,� researcher Ken Ward of the University of Memphis Department of Health and Sport Sciences, told CNSNews.com.

Ward and his associates in Syria have received a number of grants from the federal National Institutes of Health (NIH) over the years for research on waterpipes – $21,000 for a project that ended in 2007; $326,000 in 2006 to establish the Syrian Center for Tobacco Study; $334,000 for center projects in 2004; and $438,000 in 2005.

Mr. Ward and NIH, just in case you aren’t aware, Syria is our ENEMY and a supporter of terrorism against the US. I don’t care what hokey hookah research study you invent, don’t aid and abet our enemies. Absurdity run amok.

From Captains Journal is news on diagnosing TBI and treatment. This is very promising and will benefit not only our troops but also those civilians.

“This is still in the research stage,� Bullock said. “But the idea is that you could take sample and know whether the person has had a brain injury, how severe it is, and whether there’s ongoing brain damage from hour to hour based on the biomarkers present in the blood.�

Once doctors know TBI has happened, treatment can begin. One of the most promising areas of research in treating TBI is in the field of neuroprotection, essentially finding substances that can protect neurons and give them an extra line of defense against secondary damage.

I gotta hand it to “Progressives” (that’s code for Socialists). From Newsbusters we find out that Hillary’s new universal health care socialized medicine has “outcomes”.

Here let me translate progressive speake for you – “Outcome” means punishment, paying the piper for not doing what the guvmint tells you to do.  The new Socialists need new words for everything they do so you are fooled with their true intentions.  Unfortunately, it works.
