My Mother would be so proud

There’s one thing I try to do with my blog and that is to keep the language clean (as in no f-bombs and such). I’m not saying that rule always applies to my spoken tongue as I’m sure some of my more Christian friends would attest. I also won’t allow said language in my comments section. So, if you’re a commenter and you like to drop the bomb, I exercise my own form of censorship. I delete the comment or if I’m feeling generous I’ll just edit out the offensive word. That doesn’t happen too often though.

This is 85% LESS than other websites who took this test! I think this is sad that so many people feel the need to use foul language to express their opinion.

Vets for Freedom not welcome at Minnesota High School

This is so pathetic and just downright unAmerican and yes, unpatriotic. The Vets for Freedom Heroes tour arranged for these highly decorated war heroes to stop at north suburban high school in the Twin Cities and the spineless administrative idiots caved to the few whiny anti-war parents. This is a sad statement that American War Heroes are NOT welcome in an American public school.

From Michelle Malkin via Jimbo of Blackfive:

The National Heroes Tour is in Minneapolis today for a number of events however we will not be visiting Forest Lake High School, because the right of whiny left-wing buttheads to censor the troops out weighs the right of American students to hear from and meet the folks who have risked their lives for the freedoms we all enjoy. This is Pete Hegseth’s High School and he had personally arranged for a non-partisan event where students could hear from the vets and ask them questions about their service. This so offended the delicate sensibilities of the usual suspects that they began hassling the Principal and threatening protests.

Pete Hegseth who is heading up the Heroes Tour is an alumni of Forest Lake High School.

I’ll be posting about the Heroes Tour coming to Nashville on March 29th and then on to Fort Campbell on March 30th. We were able to arrange for Patriot Guard to be escorting these War Heroes for 2 days. Can’t wait!!!!!! It should be an awesome weekend.

Not Libertarian

From Notr at Rofasix is a link to a short political group quiz. According to Notr most people are surprised by the outcome but my outcome was what I expected……Conservative.

Your PERSONAL issues Score is 40%.
Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 80%.

CONSERVATIVES tend to favor economic freedom, but frequently support laws to restrict personal behavior that violates “traditional values.” They oppose excessive government control of business, while endorsing government action to defend morality and the traditional family structure. Conservatives usually support a strong military, oppose bureaucracy and high taxes, favor a free-market economy, and endorse strong law enforcement.

How Cynical are You?

I was kind of surprised by this.  Guess I’m not quite as cynical as I used to be!  h/t Cao’s.

You Are 48% Cynical
Yes, you are cynical, but more than anything, you’re a realist.
You see what’s screwed up in the world, but you also take time to remember what’s right.

MSNBC’s Citizenship Test…..Apparently they need to read the Constitution!

Interestingly I had received an email with a link to this test. MSNBC says this is some of the actual questions from the test. What they didn’t tell us is that the multiple choice format is not how the test is delivered. From Rawfisher I found out that the test is an oral test with no multiple choice.

First, question 20 of the test is invalid since there is no correct answer within the multiple choice options. I had just taken the test this morning and got to question 20. Hmmm. No right answer here. What there is with question 20 is the propaganda pushed by the ACLU. It’s that “freedom of religion” misnomer which has become the accepted fact of the nation.

Here’s Question 20 of MSNBC’s Citizenship Test:

20. Which of these contains three rights or freedoms guaranteed by the Bill of Rights?

1. Right to life, right to liberty, right to the pursuit of happiness

2. Freedom of speech, freedom of press, freedom of religion

3. Right to protest, right to protection under the law, freedom of religion

4. Freedom of religion, right to elect representatives, human rights

So, here’s the actual language of Amendment 1 of the US Constitution:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise therof; or abridging the the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Do you see “Freedom of religion” anyplace in the text of this amendment?  BTW – I got 100% except of course for question 20.

Course I could have put Midget Porn (which is what Bob at Crazy Politico's Rantings advised to increase traffic stats…Tongue out).  The name of this quiz is…..drum roll please……Sex Toy or Baby Toy?  Since I failed miserably at this particular little quiz, you take it and tell me your score.  Guess you can tell I'm not exactly into this genre of play.  heh  heh

Here's my stats:

You have scored: 6 out of 15

You fail. Stay out of the bedroom. Not to mention the nursery.

World’s Smallest Political Quiz

This actually is a very short quiz. I sometimes surprise myself on these quizzes but then you have to make choices on a limited scope, just as you have to do with election candidates.

The Numbers Game

Since I’ll be in Memphis today and have no desire to haul my laptop around with me all day, I’ll be off the net. But I thought I’d leave you with this interesting game which I received in an email from my friend Ginny.

Here’s the text from the email:
This will boggle your mind…and its weird too!
Take your time and follow the instructions.
After reading each window click on the boy in the lower right corner.
In the last window type in your numbers in the white box.

Use the keyboard to type in the numbers when asked( there is NO curser)
You will be amazed….and no, I won’t tell you how it’s done..
