Once again the jihad groveler in chief is doing his damndest to turn over as much as possible to the jihad. Earlier this month Obama fails at Surrender: US offers Taliban 6 provinces — Taliban says no.

So now Obama is offering Kandahar, Helmand, Oruzgan, Kunar and Nuristan province.

Funny how during the campaign Obama repeatedly spoke about upping the ante in the fight in Afghanistan. Now, not so much, he’s waving the white flag.

And people said that Carter was the worst president ever!

Then they set the strategists to working drafting the strategies to win. We have plenty of evidence Obama has turned this process on its head.He sent a general off to right a strategy without a mission. He was not clear on his goals. He didn’t know to what lengths he’d go to fight his “war of necessity.” When the general came back with a politically incorrect strategy, one that didn’t fit the domestic agenda, the president just started shopping for a new strategy. That meant rooting around for new goals and ways that were more politically acceptable.

The admission that the president is unsure of the mission in Afghanistan and unsure of how far he’ll go to win is a colossal demonstration of a crisis in presidential leadership.

Why do we care if the president learns the painful lessons of poor strategy making on the job? Because we’ll feel the pain.

In adjusting the strategy to what is desirable rather than what is necessary to win a necessary war the president starts down the road to defeat.

The president probably won’t chose to do less in Afghanistan, at least right away, because he can’t afford to look too soft on national security, but he is not likely to do much more. This incremental strategy is bound to fail, because the enemy will just incrementally adjust, and for them not losing is winning, for us not winning is losing.

A strategy driven by political accommodation rather than the reality of warfare is folly.

Obama and his lack of strategy or will is not a surprise to me and I had predicted this last fall. When President Bush sent troops into Afghanistan he told the American People this was going to be a prolonged front that could last decades. Democrats were howling last year during the presidential campaign that Afghanistan should be the focus and sounded like they were being tough on defense but as usual for the Democrats, being tough on defense is just a campaign strategy. That’s all they know how to do is strategize for campaigns not for fighting a war. Once again Obama and his Democrats are weak on defense.

They’re worried about trees while Obama diddles away in Denmark to bring home the pork to his Chicago thug gang through the Olympics. Yet, it’s going on a month since Obama received a request from HIS general in Afghanistan for more troops and Obama can’t find the time to respond. Obama Lied, Soldiers Died.

On Sunday, my friends (Mary Anne and Larry) and I left for Conway, Ark to stand with the Arkansas Patriot Guard to honor Pvt William Long and his family. Pvt Long was killed in a terrorist attack on our land, his memory needs to live on. The injustice by the media in the coverage of this attack on our soil left little coverage on this Soldier’s death. KATV7 has a short write up on the funeral. It was nice to see that a Democrat Governor (Bebe) attend the funeral. He even came around to the Patriot Guard flag line and shook each of our hands thanking us for being there. In the over 3 years I’ve attended KIA funerals in Tennessee, I’ve never once seen Democrat Governor Bredeson attend a funeral. He didn’t even attend the funeral of 1LT William Eric Emmert who was killed in Iraq, Tn National Guard, 269th MP Co 117th MP BTN, spent more than a decade with THP, worked for the Governor’s security detail and most recently started with TBI.

Turnout for the funeral by Patriot Guard was awesome with members coming also from Missippi and Oklahoma. One of the Oklahoma members was the Gold Star father of Cpl Michael E. Thompson ,who died in a helicopter crash in Iraq on September 16, 2008. Cpl Thompson’s father has memorialized his son’s truck. The truck is such a wonderful memorial.

There was also a Veteran who has this cool memorial he has mounted on his motorcycle trailer.

I have some video footage of the long flag line and the PGR Motorcycle escort to the cemetery, however due to my ineptness, I can’t seem to figure out how to convert 3gp files to wmv files. Actually, I don’t think I have the correct codec, so in the conversion process the program crashes. Hopefully, I’ll get this figured out.

Keep the Long family in your prayers, they’ve got the youngest son deploying in the next few weeks to the Middle East while also trying to grieve for the loss of their other son.

The contrast is stark in media reporting and the Obama Administration response to the abortion doctor Tiller’s shooting and the Muslim shooting of an American Soldier Pvt William Long.

Now, there’s also a stark contrast in the government’s response to the funerals and protesters at the funerals.

These people are obviously hate mongers who are seriously out of their minds. They seem to protest anything and everything. They are evil and vile members of society. Yet whose service do you think the liberal media will cover?

I’d also like to add, where is the federal security for the funeral of Pvt William Long. After all, there was a Muslim who intruded on a Remembrance Rally yesterday. Also, where are all the Muslim organizations coming out to condemn the act of Muslim Abdul Hakim Muhammad? Crickets!

Secure Arkansas organized a rally in rememberance of the first terrorist attack since 9/11. Pvt. William Long was killed and Pvt. Quinton I. Ezeagwula was wounded by Carlos Leon (aka Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad). Channel 11 was the only TV crew out there with a camera, and the AR Dem Gazette sent a reporter and a photographer. The event had several speakers who did a wonderful job. Video footage of them will be uploaded soon. However, the most shocking part of the event was when a muslim fanatic crashed the event. The fanatic drove by and yelled at us, then parked in the parking lot and stood out with a homemade sign yelling anti-American and later anti-Semetic comments. Had this been a ceremony for Tiller, this would have been the top story for both local and national media. Since it isn’t a top story, it’s up to you to send this to as many people as possible.

A man who allegedly shot two soldiers outside a U.S. Army recruiting center in Arkansas was arrested in Knoxville in 2004 after he was caught with an ounce of marijuana and a cache of high-powered firearms that he planned to sell.

Although simply possessing one of the weapons – a sawed-off shotgun – is a felony, Abdulhakim Muhammad escaped without a criminal record, court documents show.

snip….Muhammad, formerly known as Carlos Bledsoe, was arrested in Knoxville on Feb. 21, 2004, when he was a rear passenger in a Mazda that was pulled over for an equipment violation at Maplewood Drive and Spence Place in South Knoxville, according to a report obtained from the Knoxville Police Department.

snip….Officers found a loaded SKS 7.62mm assault rifle, a sawed-off 12-gauge shotgun and a 20-gauge shotgun in the car, according to the report.

Charges were dismissed and the Knox County DA isn’t talking.

Finally, 2 days after this attack Obama makes a statement. And what does he say?

“I am deeply saddened by this senseless act of violence against two brave young soldiers who were doing their part to strengthen our armed forces and keep our country safe. I would like to wish Quinton Ezeagwula a speedy recovery, and to offer my condolences and prayers to William Long’s family as they mourn the loss of their son.�

According to Obama a ‘man caused disaster’ Islamic terrorist attack by Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad is a “senseless act of violence”?

Authorities also found evidence there were additional attacks planned. Will this be another misguided son who happens to be Muslim and hates America?

Keep the family of William Long and Quenton Ezeaqwula in your prayers. Services for Pvt Long will be Monday, June 8th at 10:00am. Patriot Guard will be there.
