Game On!

This is why Obama, the GOP and state media are afraid of Sarah Palin. She gave a rockin’ speech in Madison, Wisconsin yesterday. Listen to this speech and then compare what Sarah Palin says to the lameness of the other potential GOP candidates like Romney, Barber, Pawlenty, Trump or Huckabee have to say. I’ll leave Herman Cain out of that mix because he’s fighting the GOP too.

There is no other candidate for 2012 who has the courage of Sarah Palin. The naysayers can continue to say she isn’t ‘presidential’ or she’s ’stupid’ but they do this at their own ignorance.

Herman Cain Shows Up Pres. Clinton in Healthcare Townhall back in early ’90’s

Watch this video and see the master Bill Clinton try to finagle his way out of the numbers Herman Cain presents as CEO of Godfather’s Pizza. When Herman shows he knows what he’s talking about Clinton makes a joke but realizes his mistake in mocking him. In the end, I think Herman has embarrassed Pres. Clinton in this townhall.

Now, think about how a master at deception (Bill Clinton) handled this and think how Obama would do in this situation. I don’t think this question or a ‘Herman Cain’ would even be allowed to ask his question or to defy Obama’s statements. Obama isn’t capable of reeling off numbers and statistics like Clinton. Obama can’t think on his feet quickly enough, this is where the ahh’s and ummm’s come into play and Obama resorts to disassociative mumbo jumbo. He would have completely flubbed it.

The point? Herman Cain is and would be an amazing GOP candidate for President!

Thanks to Neal Boortz for the video link and his talking about it on his radio program this morning.

Only in Government Speake is a loss of $19 Billion with GM a path to financial stability!

That great taxpayer bailout of GM which was a boon to the union workers at Government Motors!

Taxpayers Get Bill For GM Bailout

Bailout defenders had thought that GM’s IPO would show critics that the government could make money on the bailout. But when “Treasury received a price of $33 per share,” it sold “well below the $44.59 needed to be on track to recover fully taxpayers money.”

That seems clear enough. But those justifying the bailout will ignore taxpayers’ losses and focus instead on the panel’s statement that the aided companies are “on the path to financial stability.”

How are we doing on Gas Prices under the Obama & Democrat Regime?

I know Americans have short term memories but really 2006 and 2008 weren’t that long ago. The Democrats campaigned on bringing down gas prices back in 2006. It was all a charade and we know that Obama while campaigning back in 2008 told us he thought high gas prices were fine it was just that the rise of those prices wasn’t gradual enough. Unfortunately, the video of this has been removed by YouTube.

Here’s a chart of gas prices for the last 2 years (Jan. 2009, the start of the Obama administration to today):

William Tate wrote a top ten list of why gas prices soar with Democrats in control back in June of 2008. All of these 10 points are still relevant today.

Top 10 reasons to blame Democrats for soaring gasoline prices

10) ANWR If Bill Clinton had signed into law the Republican Congress’s 1995 bill to allow drilling of ANWR instead of vetoing it, ANWR could be producing a million barrels of (non-Opec) oil a day–5% of the nation’s consumption. Although speaking in another context, even Democrat Senator Charles Schumer, no proponent of ANWR drilling, admits that “one million barrels per day,” would cause the price of gasoline to fall “50 cents a gallon almost immediately,” according to a recent George Will column.

9) Coastal Drilling
(i.e., not in my backyard) Democrats have consistently fought efforts to drill off the U.S. coast, as evidenced by Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s preotestation against a failed 2005 bill: “Not only does this legislation dismantle the bi-partisan ban on offshore drilling, but it provides a financial incentive for states to do so.”
A financial incentive? With the Chinese now slant drilling for oil just 50 miles off the Florida coast, wouldn’t that have been a good thing?

‘8) Insistence on alternative fuels
One of the first acts of the new Democrat-controlled congress in 2007 was an energy bill that “calls for a huge increase in the use of ethanol as a motor fuel and requires new appliance efficiency standards.” By focusing on alternative fuels such as ethanol, and not more drilling, Democrats have added to the cost of food, worsening starvation problems around the word and increasing inflationary pressures in the U.S., including prices at the pump.

7) Nuclear power
Even the French, who sometimes seem to lack the backbone to stand up for anything other than soft cheese, faced down their environmentalists over the need for nuclear power. France now generates 79% of its electricity from nuclear plants, mitigating the need for imported oil. The French have so much cheap energy that France has become the world’s largest exporter of electric power. They have plans in place to build more reactors, including an experimental fusion reactor.

The last nuclear reactor built in the United States, according to the US Dept of Energy, was the “River Bend” plant in Louisiana. Its construction began in March of 1977.

Need I say more?

6) Coal “The liquid hydrocarbon fuel available from American coal reserves exceeds the crude oil reserves of the entire world,” writes Dr. Arthur Robinson in an article on humanevents.com. The U.S. has approximately one-fourth of the world’s known, proven coal reserves. Coal would be a proven, and increasingly clean, source of electric power and–at current prices–a liquified fuel that would reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Yet Dems and their enviro friends have fought, and continue to fight, both coal-mining and coal plants.

5) Refinery capacity “High oil prices are still being propped up by a shortage of refinery capacity and there is little sign of the bottleneck easing until 2010,” according to Peak Oil News. And, while voters in South Dakota have approved zoning for what could become the first new oil refinery in the United States in 30 years, the Dems’ environmentalist constituency vows to oppose it, just like environmentalists opposed the floodgates that could have saved New Orleans from Hurricane Katrina.

4) Reduced competition
With consolidation in the oil industry, has come reduced competition. Remember, most of the major oil company mergers — Shell-Texaco, BP-Amoco, Exxon-Mobil, BP-ARCO, and Chevron-Texaco — happened on Clinton’s watch. The number of oil refiners dropped from 28 to 19 companies during Clinton’s two terms.

3) The Global Warming Myth At a Group of 8 meeting this week, host and Japanese Economy, Trade and Industry Minister Akira Amari “described the issues of climate change and energy as two sides of the same coin and proposed united solutions … to address both issues simultaneously”. As a result of Global Warming hysteria, the Al Gore-negotiated Kyoto Protocol created a worldwide market in carbon-emissions trading. Both 2005 –the year that trading was initiated–and this year –when the trading expanded dramatically — saw substantial and unexpected price spikes in the cost of oil, leading us to reason Number…

2) Speculation
“Given the unchanged equilibrium in global oil supply and demand over recent months amid the explosive rise in oil futures prices … it is more likely that as much as 60% of the today oil price is pure speculation,” writes F. William Engdahl, an Associate of the Centre for Research on Globalization. According to a June 2006 US Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations report, US energy futures historically “were traded exclusively on regulated exchanges within the United States… The trading of energy commodities by large firms on OTC electronic exchanges was exempted from (federal) oversight by a provision inserted at the behest of Enron and other large energy traders into the Commodity Futures Modernization Act of 2000.” The bill was signed into law by Bill Clinton, in one of his last acts in office.

1) Defeat of President Bush’s 2001 energy package According to the BBC, “Key points of Bush(’s 2001) plan were to:

-Promote new oil and gas drilling

-Build new nuclear plants

-Improve electricity grid and build new pipelines -$10bn in tax breaks to promote energy efficiency and alternative fuels

Terrorist threat at Tyson’s plant in Shelbyville,TN

I can’t imagine anyone would be surprised by this. When Tyson’s changed from hiring illegal aliens they hooked into the Middle Eastern refugee scam. Catholic Charities and the World Relief Organization are a couple of the do-gooder agencies also making money off this enterprise. They are paid by the Federal government to sponsor these refugees, as soon as the agencies 30 days of ‘helping’ the refugees they are shipped off to small towns for the taxpayers to take care of them.

As reported by Channel 4 News in Nashville – ‘All Americans Must Die’ Written On Plant Wall

The Shelbyville chief of police and a former Tyson employee confirmed that threatening messages surfaced this week, leading to extra security at the plant.

“A couple days ago, they had a terrorist threat that was written on the bathroom walls that said ‘all Americans must die,’” said a woman, who said she wanted to remain anonymous to protect her relative, who works inside the plant.

She said that she didn’t see the writing herself but is aware of what’s going on from others.

“One day last week, someone set the women’s bathroom on fire, and they finally put a security guard at the bathroom door,” the woman said.

There’s video at the link.

I’ve reported previously on Muslim ‘refugees’ at this Tyson plant:

Sen. Corker Now Seeking Cover from State GOP for START

Corker knows he shoved an unpopular treaty through in a Lame Duck Congress. A treaty that the Russian’s are whole heartedly in support of but warned no changes could be made to the language of the bill (did that include the part of the treaty in Russian?)and Corker complied with all of Obama and Russia’s demands. So good of our dear senator. What does he get in return? Is it the supposed earmarks for Oakridge? Corker is basing his political life on the possibility that the new House will appropriate the funds required for this treaty. Even worse is that the dollars in the treaty are in the later years of the treaty.

I see a senate trip to Russia for comrade Corker in the future. He’s also banking and trying to provide cover for himself with his re-election campaign in 2012. Corker thinks his constituents will forget, will you?

I just got this in an email from the TN State GOP:

As you know, the US Senate voted on the START treaty this week. Senator Corker and his office wanted us to share this note and press release with you.

Sincerely,

Chris Devaney
Chairman
Tennessee Republican Party

I wanted to share an important development with you that doesn’t seem to have received much reporting. This week as part of the amendment process for the treaty, in an amendment we offered along with Senator McCain, we codified the strong commitments the President made for continuing robust missile defense in his letter (link to his letter and our amendment are below) and made them a condition of the treaty. He is now legally bound to live by the commitments he made in that letter. In addition, our amendment added an understanding that the preamble to the treaty is not binding in any way. As a result, continuing to develop, improve and deploy a robust missile defense becomes the policy of the United States as it relates to the treaty.

Through our constructive efforts, the START treaty firmly establishes our Republican principles on national security (modernization of our nuclear arsenal, verification of the activities of the Russians, a strong commitment to missile defense) and the process forced the Administration to move far to the right.

For immediate release: December 22, 2010

Huckabee ♥♥♥ Michelle Obama’s Food Police

Yes, the big government, nanny stater Mike Huckabee backs Michelle Obama’s food police campaign. In this interview he neglected to mention the Food Safety Bill of 2010 pushed by Michelle Obama where 15 other big government RINO’s like Huckabee also voted yes. (Alexander, Brown, Burr, Collins, Enzi, Grassley, Gregg, Johanns, Kirk, Murkowski, Snowe, Vitter and Voinovich). Who benefits? SEIU!

Every time there’s a government program to expand the nanny state, Huckster is right up there promoting it. Just because he has a weight problem then it’s okay to impose the government on our personal lives because to him that’s the purpose of government. Based on the pictures I’ve seen of the Huckster he may have lost a bunch of weight a few years back but it looks to me like he’s well on his way to gaining that weight back. The before and after picture of Huck:

Here’s the Huckster’s interview from Radio Equalizer:

I also found this video which reiterates Moochelle’s words on her “Team Obama Food Police“.

Way to show your true colors once again Huckabee.
