I don’t know why but I found this so funny. Not only did it demonstrate the stupidity of Gore’s whole man-made global warming but it brought back memories of growing up in Minnesota winters. I actually stripped my tongued of it’s skin by sticking my tongue on a light pole. Why oh why did I ever do that? I have no clue, just the stupidity of being young but I can tell you I will never forget how painful that was, oh my tongue got all swollen and damn but it hurt. Kind of like the time I was riding my bike, not paying attention and ran head on into a light pole. Criminy but that also hurt. Funny how you learn as a child from mistakes you make especially those that cause you pain.

Too bad Al Gore hasn’t really had to experience any of the pain he’s invoked by his man-made global warming scam. All the jobs and destruction caused to our energy sector. My wish is for hot air Al to experience pain to his pocket book for his scamming of the American taxpayers.

Another idiot entertainer lecturing on politics and the environment while living in a massive estate in Williamson County, TN which is about 30 miles south of Nashville.

I’m just going to link to Big Hollywood for the memorable quotes instead of the Couric interview at Glamour. First Crow calls all Tea Party people uneducated and full of fear mongering. Then she says:

“If you’re going to live in a wasteful manner, if you’re going to drive a giant car, and you’re going to live not considering that you share the planet with everybody else, then shame on you.”

Crow has lived in the home, southeast of Franklin in College Grove, for nearly six years, but now she’s selling it for $7.5 million.

Realtor William Sample with Benchmark Realty says there’s actually three residences on the farm located on Cross Keys Road.

“Approximately 11,000 square feet in the main home, a little over 2,000 square feet in the guest quarters, and then we have living quarters in the barn, and then another property we have, which sits over to your left, that’s the property with the lifetime estate on it,” Sample said.

The main home has 17 rooms, seven and a half bathrooms, and there is a Nanny’s corner, with its own separate entrance and kitchen.

Sample says Sheryl Crow spent almost a year giving the home a complete make over, from painting to adding fixtures and other touches that made it unique to her style.

Yeah, she’s selling her $7.5Mil home to move closer to Nashville but she’s still going to stay in Williamson County. So she will sell her massive estate in the country to buy another massive estate on the northern end of the county where the other entertainment types live.

Don’t you just love it when the privileged lecture the ‘little people’. What a bleepin’ hypocrite!

Will this help those who believe all the green jobs nonsense? I’d hope so but won’t hold out much hope. The level of propaganda and indoctrination is overwhelming from all areas of the media and educational institutions. It’s nothing more than people with an agenda to make money. All the US is doing with the use of electric for vehicles is substituting one energy source (oil and the Middle East) for another energy (batteries and even greater dependence on China)!

It isn’t really a coincidence that Earth Day falls on the same day as the founder of Communism’s Birthday!  Isn’t it that odd that with 365 days to choose from that Lenin’s Birthday is the chosen day to celebrate Earth Day. But then, EnvironMENTALism is the chosen substitute for Communism. Just follow the dots.

In 1955, then Soviet Premier, Nikita Krushchev ordered April 22nd be designated a day to celebrate Communism. In 1970, it was chosen to be Earth Day by Gaylord Nelson, one of the founders of the event. Those founders had 365 days from which to choose. They chose Lenin’s birthday.

When Communism was imposed on Russia in 1917, the first thing it did was to outlaw the ownership of private property. Under Communism, the State owns all property and all natural resources. In recent years in the United States, the Clinton-Gore Administration has declared millions of acres of mineral and oil-rich areas to be national monuments. The U.S.government already owns more than forty percent of the nation’s landmass. Individual States own property as well, bringing the total closer to fifty percent. There are measures in Congress right now that would provide a dedicated stream of funding to insure that States will purchase still more property to put off limits to any use or development. The keystone of Capitalism is the ownership of private property. The Founding Fathers felt so strongly about this the Fifth Amendment protects this right, stating that no private property shall be taken for public use without just compensation. Across the nation, however, the government has effectively “taken” private property through such devices as the Endangered Species Act that denies the use of any property on which a listed species is found. Owners of such properties effectively lose them to government control. Wetlands legislation has a similar effect on owners of private property, denying them the use of their property if it is designated a wetland. These are environmental laws.

The similarities between the philosophy and programs advocated by the Greens and totalitarian forms of government are numerous. What better way to undermine the economy of this nation than to deny its citizens the benefits of its natural resources? Even access and use of national parks is being increasingly restricted.

Today, fully a third of all federal laws and regulations are devoted to the so-called “protection of the environment.” They impact property ownership and the use of all energy sources. Vast areas of the U.S., despite known, huge reserves of oil and coal, have been put off limits. Virtually no structure can be built without an environmental impact study being undertaken. Right now, there are Administration efforts to destroy dams providing hydroelectric power in the northwest, ostensibly to save salmon. In countless ways, so-called environmental laws impact our lives, even down to the amount of water one can use to flush a toilet!

Hmmm. Seems to me the Congress just passed MORE legislation restricting land use.

So, instead of celebrating Earth Day, we can all celebrate Lenin’s Birthday and the birth of Communism/Earth Day.

EnvironMENTALists have a new crime they’ve fabricated and want to impose through the United Nations and to be prosecuted through the International Criminal Court. Let’s see, who are the greatest enemies of the whole manmade global warming scam? Why the ‘climate deniers’ of course. Those who don’t believe in AGW threaten the financial greed for all the junk scientists trying to foist this scam on the world.

You have been found guilty of Ecocide. WTF?

There is a proposal for the United Nations to accept “ecocide” as a fifth “crime against peace”, which could be tried at the International Criminal Court, is the brainchild of British Planetary Rights Lawyer Polly Higgins.

Last week I saw the documentary “Mine Your Own Business”, if you want to see how compassionate these environMENTALists really are then you should watch this film. Their arrogance, selfishness and condescension is insufferable.

And on and on. You get the idea. “Bipartisan” becomes a metaphor for “bought off.”

And to put the final nail in the coffin of American energy is the EPA.

IBD – EPA Limits On Greenhouse Gases Will Shift U.S. Production Overseas

Headed toward regulatory seppuku, the agency recently finalized a climate change determination that current concentrations of GHGs — about 435 parts per million (ppm) in CO2 equivalents — in the atmosphere endanger public health and welfare.

EPA makes this claim not because these emissions are toxic like pollutants covered by the Clean Air Act, but because of their heat-trapping capacity. EPA has accepted the theory that increasing emissions of these gases will lead to unprecedented increases in the earth’s temperature and that a much warmer earth will mean health- and even life-threatening problems.

Although it has been as warm or warmer in the past, EPA wants to act assuming a worst-case scenario — even if the probability of occurrence is incredibly small.

There is support for the theory (a theory, not a fact) that the projected path of human emissions will lead to global concentrations that pose a risk. The U.N.’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has set an ambitious goal of cutting GHG emissions so concentrations do not exceed 450 ppm and keeping the global average temperature increase below 2 degrees Celsius.

All this when it’s been proven the AGW/Manmade Global Warming statistics are nothing more than junk. It’s junk science, all of it and these idiots are ready to throw down what is left of the US economy for discredited theories!

The positive outcome for all the snow being laid on the Beltway is NO CONGRESS in session. That’s a good thing. Could we keep D.C. snowed in for a few months by any chance?

When will the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) stop running their ridiculous ads soliciting donations for the demise of the polar bear? Yeah, don’t hold your breath. There’s too much money to be made by these ‘Big Non Profit’ scammers.

Adding insult to injury, not only is that Amazon paper not peer-reviewed, its authors are a PhD forester and fire management expert (not a climatologist), and a journalist. The paper they co-wrote was for the WWF in conjunction with the International Union for the Conservation of Nature.

This is just too funny. Here’s the Sweden, supposedly the country of all things politically correct, using the carcasses of rabbits for heat this winter.

The creatures are being harvested from parks in Stockholm, shot dead, deep frozen and shipped to a plant in central Sweden where they are burned and used to heat homes.

Some 6,000 rabbits were killed last year for biofuel and 3,000 have so far been culled this year, Stockholm-based newspaper The Local reported.

Frozen Gore

Fairbanks, AK- In an ongoing effort to attract Former Vice President Al Gore to come to Fairbanks and debate his man-made global warming theories, a unique interactive ice sculpture will be unveiled Tuesday, January 5th in downtown Fairbanks.

The new sculpture, a 6′ tall, 4,000 lb, likeness of Mr. Gore will be uncovered at the corner of Airport Road and Cushman Street next to Thrifty Liquor. This year the carving features an audio dub of Mr. Gore’s Dec. 2009 Copenhagen speech suggesting the entire Polar Ice cap will likely disappear in the next 5 to 7 years, and urging us to upgrade our light bulbs.

As the audio is played, hot air will be emitted from the mouth of the statue, signifying the dangers to the environment of all types of man-made emissions. The source of the hot air will be the Ford F-350 flatbed truck on which the sculpture sits, with a 2” hose from the tailpipe of the vehicle, through a hole bored in the back of the head of the carving, and pumped out through the mouth of the statue. Local businessmen Craig Compeau and Rudy Gavora commissioned the frozen artwork, by world class sculptor Steve Dean.
“We’re not giving up easy”, Compeau told onlookers as the statue was receiving its final touches Sunday evening. “We invited Mr. Gore to Fairbanks last January (one of the coldest in decades) to debate his planet-melting theories. His people responded via email, that although Mr. Gore would love to attend, there was a scheduling conflict.” Compeau was confused by the response since he had not suggested any specific date or time.

Locals are welcome to stop by and get their photos taken with the artwork at any time of day, although the frigid temperature may keep them away, or cause cameras to freeze up. Temperatures in Interior Alaska have recently fallen to the -30 to -40F range.

In conjunction with the release of the new statue, Compeau has incorporated a “Local Warming” contest that will raise money to provide warm winter clothing for homeless Fairbanks residents. The contest asks participants to estimate how many hours the Ford F-350 would have to run (at idle) to equal the carbon output of a round-trip visit from Tennessee to Copenhagen aboard a Lear jet. The winner will receive a warm Ski-doo winter jacket, long underwear, thermal socks, and an Al Gore Bobblehead doll.
