“The Democrat definition of PAYGO is you pay, they go on spending.”
That is a quote from Republican Representative Mike Pence of Indiana. Supposedly the theory of PayGo is for each dollar spent, then a dollar must be saved or cut from someplace else. Remember all during the 2006 election cycle this was the mantra we heard from the spendthrift Nancy Pelosi!

1) PAYGO has never been enforced
* During the 1991-2002 round of statutory PAYGO, Congress and the President still added more than $700 billion to the budget deficit and simply cancelled every single sequestration that would have enforced PAYGO.
* Since the 2007 creation of the PAYGO rule, Congress has waived it numerous times in order to add $600 billion to the deficit. In fact, the entire “stimulus� bill violated PAYGO; Congress simply ignored the rule.2) PAYGO’s design is flawed
* PAYGO exempts all discretionary spending, and would also allow all current entitlement programs like Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid to continue growing on autopilot. It affects only new entitlements or tax cuts that may be created in the future.
* Even if PAYGO were fully enforced, entitlement spending would still grow 6 percent annually, and discretionary spending could grow without limit.
What a farce. Where’s the lamestream media on this? Crickets……
What does ‘The Market’ think of Obama and the Dhimmi’s?
Not much obviously. Looks to me like Obami and his collectivist Dhimmi’s are trying to tank the ‘The Market’. They haven’t even voted on the budget yet or the Obami’s “Cap and Trade” which will make gas and energy costs soar. I’m guess we’ll be seeing the Dow around 6000 by summer at this rate, maybe lower. Can you imagine the Dow Jones at 5000?

A Trillion here, a trillion there
The Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac bailout last summer, the auto bailout last summer, the TARP I bailout, more auto bailouts, the trillion dollar “stimulus” and the most recent $75 billion for irresponsible mortgage holders from the Obami, but that isn’t enough yet.

Here we go again! House Republicans are bracing for another onslaught of out-of-control Democrat-authored spending as the omnibus bill is expected to hit the floor of the House as early as next week.
And it’ll be yet another spending bill House Republicans and the American people have not yet been allowed to see and the Democrats haven’t even bothered to read. As if the $1.2 trillion Democrats spent on “stimulus� last week wasn’t enough of a disaster, this colossal bill encompasses the remaining nine appropriations bills for fiscal year 2009 sloughed off by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).
House minority leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) called upon the Speaker Thursday to release the voluminous spending bill online without delay. “If Democratic leaders plan to schedule a vote on the half-trillion dollar omnibus spending bill next week, they should post the legislation online immediately so the American people have adequate time to read the measure and understand what is in it,� Boehner said.
There is no end to the voracious appetite of the Democrat Pig!
Obama’s ‘Fiscal Responsibility Summit’ – The Audacity of Hypocrisy
With the Obami it’s all about appearances and presentation. Never mind, there’s no substance, no belief, no principles. Unfortunately, we all will be finding out how the Obami and his Dhimmicrat minion’s version of fiscal responsibility will be destroying the US and world economy. The latest folly, American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, is not the end of the spending. It’s not fiscally sustainable but the Obami will continue with his propaganda parade thinking all Americans are as whiny, stupid, dependent and selfish as the 52% of Americans who voted for this double talking liar.

In January, then president-elect Obama announced that sometime in February he intended to hold what he was calling a “fiscal responsibility summit� as he would be planning his proposal for the 2010 budget. Apparently it will be held on February 23, most likely at the White House.
But first we have the stimulus bill that Obama most likely plans to sign on February 17. That in mind, I ask the question: what does Barack Obama know of “fiscal responsibility�?

Gun Ownership, Stimuless Bill, national Health record database
Look for the links! What connection could there be between gun ownership and the stimuless bill? Back in Jan. of 2008 Congress passed the NICS Improvement Act (HR 2640) of which a section of the act was called the Veterans Disarmament Act.
Gun Owners of America connects the dots for us in a press release from February 11, 2009 between the Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 and gun ownership:
Of particular concern to gun owners are sections 13101 through 13434 of HR 1, which would set up the infrastructure to computerize the medical records of ALL AMERICANS in a government-coordinated database.
True, the bill doesn’t mandate that the data will be in a giant computer under the Oval Office. But it does mandate that your medical records be reduced to a computerized form which is available to it in a second.
This it would do by establishing a National Coordinator for Health Information Technology –- tasked with, among other things, “providing information to help guide medical decisions at the time and place of care.�
It should be scary enough that a government bureaucrat is directed by statute to try to influence your doctor’s decisions with respect to your medical care.
But of even greater concern to gun owners is the fact that a government-coordinated database (which government can freely access) will now contain all records of government-provided and private psychiatric treatment -– including, in particular, the drugs which were prescribed.
Remember last year’s “NICS Improvement Act� otherwise known as the Veterans Disarmament Act? This law codified ATF’s attempts to make you a prohibited person on the basis of a government psychiatrist’s finding that you are a “danger� –- without a finding by any court. Well, roughly 150,000 battle-scarred veterans have already been unfairly stripped of their gun rights by the government.
But people who, as kids, were diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder… or seniors with Alzheimer’s… or police with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder… or people who are now theoretically covered by the new law… these people have, generally, not suffered the consequences of its sanctions YET. And the chief reason is that their records are not easily available to the government in a central, easily retrievable, computerized form.
The bailout bill would change all of that. It would push increasingly hard to force your private psychiatrist or government-sanctioned psychiatrist to turn over your psychiatric records to a massive database. This would be mandated immediately if your doctor does business with the government.
This would supposedly save Medicare money in connection with medical treatment. And, the sponsors insist, they would work very hard to protect your privacy.
But this turns the concept of “privacy� on its head. The privacy which is MOST important is privacy from the prying eyes of government –- not privacy of government data against the prying eyes of others. After all, many government data bases have been hacked in recent years, with mountains of information stolen.
So, once the government has access to these computerized psychiatric records, the stage will be set for using that database to take away the gun rights of those with Alzheimer’s, those with ADD, and those with PTSD.
Beware of the gun grabbers, they are at your door!
State’s Rights
Considering the over reach of the Democrat Congress and the Obami many states are looking to remind the Federal Government the sovereignty of individual states. The latest egregious example is the ‘punish S.C. Governor Mark Sanford Amendment’ to the just passed Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (stimuless bill). This amendment is meant to force any governors who might not want partake in the Generational Theft Act by the Dhimmicrats. In January the Dhimmicrats and the Obami reauthorized and expanded the SCHIP program which will be a burden for states with more unfunded mandates.

It’s an obvious end-run around the authority of South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford, the outspoken GOP fiscal conservative who has staunchly opposed the behemoth federal package.
Read it:
SEC. 1607. (a) CERTIFICATION BY GOVERNOR — Not later than 45 days after the date of enactment of this Act, for funds provided to any State or agency thereof, the Governor of the State shall certify that: 1) the State request and use funds provided by this Act , and; 2) funds be used to create jobs and promote economic growth.
(b) ACCEPTANCE BY STATE LEGISLATURE — If funds provided to any State in any division of this Act are not accepted for use by the Governor, then acceptance by the State legislature, by means of the adoption of a concurrent resolution, shall be sufficient to provide funding to such State.
A number of states are looking to reclaim the 10th Amendment of the Bill of Rights.

Most informed citizens know the Bill of Rights has ten amendments; nowadays, though, not much attention is paid to the Tenth Amendment. You remember, the one that says,
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
Most folks these days don’t know that’s in the Constitution—but then, to all intents and purposes, our government doesn’t either. (The same is true of the Ninth Amendment, which declares, “The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.�)
Now, however, we have the first sign in a very long time that that might be about to change. If Congress won’t recognize the proper sphere of sovereignty of the states, some of the states are thinking about standing up to claim it for themselves. States with bills on the books (From RS Comments):

You may not have heard much about it, but there’s a quiet movement afoot to reassert state sovereignty and stop the uncontrolled expansion of federal government power. Almost half of the state legislatures are currently considering or have representatives preparing to introduce resolutions to reassert the principles of the 9th and 10th Amendments and the idea that federal power is strictly limited to specific areas detailed in the Constitution and that all other governmental authority rests with the states.
snip…..The text of the bill proposed in Arizona makes the clearest statement of the intent to block unfunded mandates:
“That this Resolution serves as notice and demand to the federal government, as our agent, to cease and desist, effective immediately, mandates that are beyond the scope of these constitutionally delegated powers.�and
“That all compulsory federal legislation that directs states to comply under threat of civil or criminal penalties or sanctions or requires states to pass legislation or lose federal funding be prohibited or repealed.
What this movement is most similar to is the Nullification Crisis of 1832 where the State of South Carolina asserted that it had the right to nullify the authority of federal laws within its borders. In this case the states are not asserting anything as broad as the Doctrine of Nullification, but are merely reasserting the limits which the 10th Amendment places on federal authority, specifically as it applies to spending, the idea being that they don’t have to pay for federal mandates if their legislators choose not to.
Congress is even over reaching into local government policing through the Dept of Homeland Security (from Free Republic/NYT):
Members of Congress asked the Justice and Homeland Security Departments on Friday to investigate accusations that the sheriff who presides over the Phoenix metropolitan area has engaged in a pattern of racial profiling and other abuses against Latino residents.
Four members of the House Judiciary Committee, including the chairman, John Conyers Jr., Democrat of Michigan, raised of concerns about the sheriff, Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County.
Sheriff Arpaio, a publicity magnet who is a hero to those who campaign against illegal immigration and a pariah to immigration advocates, brushed off the requests as political high jinks.
To many Dhimmicrats enforcing laws is racist. Members of the committee who think they should also be governing local government are Chairman John Conyers (MI), Zoe Lofgren (CA), Jerrold Nadler (NY) and Robert Scott (VA). These crack whores of Congress who are addicted to power think arresting criminals and jailing them is racist!
Guess these states better not wait too long though, the Dhimmicrats have already plunged the country into socialism and I figure we are at about stage 6 (out of 10). Their addiction to power has overwhelmed them and they know there’s still a whole year left for them to centralize the government and plunge the country into a decade long depression.
Obama’s New Cabinet Post

WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Barack Obama yesterday announced that he would ask Congress to create a new federal department to help implement key elements of his ambitious agenda.
“Too long, the dreams of Americans have been denied, too long our nation’s promises have gone unfulfilled,” the president said during a White House news conference, in a nationally-televised speech that left several reporters wiping away tears at the unprecendented historic signficance of the moment. “No longer will we watch our children grow cynical with disappointment, nor see our senior citizens despairing of hope.”

This is just another example of the true purpose of this spending bill. It’s advocacy spending of taxpayer dollars for the advancement of Dhimmicrat power. The Senate Dhimmis have $90 million tucked into the section on Digital to Analog Converter Program.

On page 38 of the Senate version of the stimulus, under the section “Digital-to-Analog Converter Program�, the Senate carves out “$90,000,000.00 . . . for education and out-reach, including grants to organizations for programs to educate vulnerable populations, including senior citizens, minority communities, people with disabilities, low-income individuals, and people living in rural areas, about the transition.�
Sounds innocuous. Here’s the catch:
Just think of all the other “little” stimuless sections there are to this bloated pile of steaming crapola. Isn’t it enough to give ACORN $4 Billion so it’s community organizers can embezzle those funds from the US taxpayer?

HR 1 American Recovery & Reinvestment Act 2009 passes House (all Republicans vote no)
What Dhimmicrats are calling the $825 Billion Stimulus Stimuless bill passed almost along party lines late this afternoon. I’m actually impressed, the GOP stuck together in the House! They decided not to be the Dhimmis useful idiots for a change. Of course, the Senate will be another whole ball of wax. I’m sure the Dhimmi’s who voted against the bill were given permission since the Dhimmis easily had the votes to pass it. Wonder what happened to all those blue dog Democrats? You know, the Dhimmis that run in Republican districts, who campaign on fiscal restraint!
Roll Call – House Passes Stimulus Without GOP Support
The House passed an $825 billion economic stimulus bill Wednesday night but without the sweeping bipartisan support sought by President Barack Obama.
11 Democrats voted no on the bill. Now we get to see what the Senate does with the bill considering they are porking it up even more, the Senate bill approaches a trillion dollars. Let’s see which Republicans become useful idiots for Harry Reid and the Obami.
