Bearack
Back in 2007 I had posted an image for CAIR Bear, unfortunately the image was pulled by Imageshack. I hadn’t saved it to my hard drive and didn’t do much to try and find it again. BUT, lo and behold, the creators of the image CAIR Bear stopped by to post a comment to that 2007 posting and I was introduced to whole collection of CAIR Bears along with a new addition:

An update on Glenn Beck next??
From Flying Imams
(MIAMI, FL, 4/15/07) – The South Florida chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-SFL) recently launched an anti-terror advertising campaign on the local Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh radio programs. CAIR-SFL’s campaign focused on those two programs because of the hosts’ frequent claims that Muslims do not do enough to condemn terrorism and the overall Islamophobic tone of the broadcasts.
Go to Flying Imams for the rest of the story.
Where’s the ACLU when ya need em? Ohhh, that’s right – they’re right wing hate mongers. ACLU need not apply!

Hillary doin’ Selma
Hillary trying to perform a dramatic reading – it almost hurts to listen. Hillary has no genuine warm or humor so Hillary just ends up sounding like she’s mocking the people who’s CHURCH service she’s attending and giving a political campaign speech. Course, Obama was just down the street also giving a political campaign speech in a Black church. Here’s what baffles me, the church attendees sounded like they were clapping for Hillary’s bad imitation of a Selma, Alabama drawl. What’s wrong with these people? Apparently, it’s perfectly acceptable for politicians to go into churches for Sunday services and give sermons campaign speeches. It’s become a common place occurance for Dhimmicrats since Bill Clinton first ran for president for this to occur. Since these churches are not losing their tax exempt status I guess it’s going to be okay for Republicans to also campaign in churches. Where’s the ACLU????

ACLU advocates overturn of US Constitution
The latest from the Anti-American Civil Liberties Union demonstrates how important it is for Republicans to retain control of Congress. We now hear that one of the Supremes is gravely ill and will resign from SCOTUS by the end of this year. We do not need another Stevens, Ginsberg or Souter on the court.
From Front Page – The ACLU Shadow
On November 1, 2006, this ACLU Human Rights Program filed a petition with the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights asking it to “find the United States in violation of its universal human rights obligations by failing to protect millions of undocumented workers from exploitation and discrimination in the workplace.â€? This action is only the latest in the ACLU’s self-proclaimed strategy to use the United Nations and other global governance forums to “complement existing ACLU advocacy on national security, immigrants’ rights, women’s rights and racial justice.â€?
Apparently, the ACLU’s leaders do not believe that our Founding Fathers really intended the Constitution that they wrote for us to be “the supreme Law of the Land, even though that is exactly what the Constitution says that it is.[1]
So in essence what the ACLU advocates:
With its Human Rights Program, the American Civil Liberties Union is now going even one step further. It is asking non-American institutions to tell us how to conduct our own affairs under international human rights norms that are supposed to supplement the Constitution. Every domestic policy issue becomes fair game for the “international arbitersâ€? selected by the ACLU to apply international “normsâ€? instead of our own duly enacted laws. The ACLU is no longer willing to rely on the strength of America’s own democratic institutions to resolve our problems ourselves within the proven framework of our own Constitution. They want to outsource that task to global governance institutions that are hostile to the national sovereignty and democratic values of our country. In short, the ACLU’s idiot savants have become the useful idiots for those enemies of the United States whose aim is to manipulate the truth and undermine our unique Constitutional system of self-government. Let’s look at some of the bills which Harold Ford Jr has voted the ACLU approved way:
Voted against the Patriot Act - On December 14, 2005, the House passed the USA PATRIOT and Terrorism Prevention Reauthorization Act by a vote of 251 to 174.
Voted against eliminating assistance for those who do not speak English for voting – House of Representatives rejected an amendment to strike the language assistance provisions of the Voting Rights Act by a vote of 185-238. The ACLU opposed the amendment because language assistance is critically important to help voters who are Limited English Proficient.
Voted against allowing warrantless surveillance between those in the US to someone outside the US – House of Representatives passed the Electronic Surveillance Modernization Act by a vote of 232 to 191. The bill would allow warrantless surveillance of telephone and e-mail conversations that Americans in the U.S. have with people abroad, even when there is no evidence that they are conspiring with foreign terrorist organizations. It would authorize warrantless surveillance for renewable 90-day periods when the U.S. is attacked or when the president decides that an attack is imminent.
Ford’s rating from the 108th Congress is 47%.
Ford’s rating from the 107th Congress is 60%.

Mpls/St. Paul Airport Cabs Allowed to Discriminate on Passenger Pickups
Where’s the ACLU when you need them? Imagine this, Somali taxicabs are allowed to discriminate on their passenger pickups. If a potential passenger has liquor (how exactly do they know if a passenger has liquor on them?) the driver’s refuse to take the fare. Are they also allowed to refuse fares where the passenger has been drinking? Cause if that’s the case I thought that’s what the whole campaign to call a cab if you’re out on the town was all about.
Just more special treatment for the Somali’s in Mpls/St. Paul, it’s been going on for years now. But this only reinforces special treatment for Muslims and the continuing capitulation by the West to Islam.
Infidels, you know the position to assume.

Judge overturns Ky Law forbidding protesting at military funerals……can you say ACLU
A judge in Kentucy temporarily suspends a Kentucky law which forbids protesting within 300 feet of a military funeral.
U.S. District Judge Karen Caldwell said Tuesday that the law goes too far in limiting free speech. The law aimed at Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kan., which is known for its anti-gay protests, is too broad, the judge said in issuing an injunction.
“The zone is large enough that it would restrict communications intended for the general public on a matter completely unrelated to the funeral as well as messages targeted at funeral participants,” Caldwell wrote in a 37-page ruling issued in Frankfort.
Response from the smarmy ACLU:
“We think Judge Caldwell reenforced the importance of freedom of expression,” Lutgens said. “We continue to support the commonwealth’s efforts to protect funerals, but we know it’s not necessary to violate the First Amendment to do that.”
I thought this was a great response to the ruling:
State Sen. Tom Buford, R-Nicholasville, one of the sponsors of the law, said the 300-foot barrier is the same buffer zone used to keep people from campaigning at voting precincts during elections.
“It would seem we want to give at least as much reverence to a funeral as we do an election,” Buford said. “It seems like a sad day for our military.”
I can’t wait to find out how many Democrats voted for PERA since the vote was held Tues., Sept. 26th.
Hats off to Mayor Barletta of Hazleton, PA
From The Stein Report:
For once the ACLU is meeting up with someone who’s not backing down plus the good Mayor is getting some big honcho assistance.
In this case, Hazleton has not caved. Quite the contrary, it has girded its loins for battle. It has engaged as chief defense counsel, Kris W. Kobach, formerly Attorney General John Ashcroft’s chief adviser on immigration law. Also, Mountain States Legal Foundation and the Federation for American Immigration Reform have volunteered staff and lawyers to defend the town’s position.
I also like this bit in the story:
Providing for the welfare of local citizens is the very essence of municipal government. The ACLU effort to replace government by the town council with government by an unelected judge is a direct attack on the civil rights of all citizens of Hazleton. The court which ultimately dismisses the ACLU attack on Hazleton should also award serious fees and costs against the ACLU and the Puerto Rican group in favor of the town and its beleaguered taxpayers.

PERA – House Bill to cut off ACLU’s funding mechanism
The ACLU makes it’s money through extortion of the taxpayers at all levels of government. A law from 1976 which was meant to help those who couldn’t afford to defend themselves in civil liberty cases is now used as a means of extorting taxpayer dollars to fund their perverted view of civil liberties. What they really like to do is twist and distort the First Amendment so Americans believe there can be no religion in the public venue.
Now Congress is trying to do something about this.
A plan that would cut off the pipeline of taxpayer money that now flows into American Civil Liberties Union coffers has been advanced by the House Judiciary Committee.
The Public Expression of Religion Act, introduced by Indiana Congressman John Hostettler, now will move to the full House for a vote, he said in his announcement this week.
?This is a big victory for Americans who care about our rich religious heritage in this country,? he said. ?There is a lot of excitement about this bill.?
It has been vigorously supported by the American Legion, where Commander Rees Lloyd described it as ?a long overdue victory for justice, freedom, democracy, and the First Amendment.?
?The American Legion has fought for reform of the attorney fee provisions of federal law which the ACLU has exploited to reap millions of dollars in taxpayer-paid attorney fees in Establishment Clause cases,? Lloyd?s statement said.
He said the ACLU has used the threat of the fees as ?a club? to bludgeon local elected bodies into surrendering to the ACLU?s ?secular cleansing demands.?
In this election season be sure to call your Representatives to support PERA. There is a similar bill in the Senate sponsored by Senator Brownback.

Thank You Letter From “The Devil” To The ACLU
This is one of those oh so very special letters and starts out:
Dear ACLU
I am Lucifer, but you may call me Satan. My spirit is alive and active through my supporters in the United States of America as well as the rest of the world.
Here’s another couple of paragraphs that highlight the tone of the letter:
There are countless other Christian conservatives that are my enemies. I hate them all. I am looking for delusional liberal disciples to succumb and kneel before me, not intelligent critics who chastise my evil and passionate efforts. These Christian conservatives do make a negative impact on my bringing as many with me as I possibly can to my one-way dark cruise of misery through the eternal lake of fire.
To you my ACLU, I want to give my highest commendation. How you locate and manipulate liberal judges for my purpose and to do my bidding would warm my heart – if I had a heart.
And for my final example and there are quite a few in this snarky and satirical letter:
Thank you for partnering with me to reduce America’s culture to a pile of rubble? As so many of my enemies have already stated, you have done this by fighting to legalize child pornography, homosexual marriage, prostitution, sex between adults and children, remove “under God from the pledge of allegiance and the motto “in God We Trust from our money. You are passionate for me and you are quickly slicing all semblances of decency in America. You are justified and wonderful in my deep red eyes.

Finally, don’t you think it’s time we start to pressure Congress to stop the ACLU from exerting it’s legal extortion on government entities through the 1976 The Civil Rights Attorneys Fee Awards Act (42 U.S.C. Section 1988). Here’s an informative article which details the evolution and intent of this act which has been hijacked by the ACLU and funds the ACLU by extorting government entities to pay it’s fees. It’s an election year folks, time to act!
