Soros continues drive to control the votes by taking control of Secretary of State offices

The Democrats best friend George Soros and Peter Lewis (Progressive Insurance) have been so successful at stealing elections they’re going to see what other states they can pollute with their voter fraud electoral victories.

We saw Minnesota become the last victim with the Al Franken victory in 2008.

Soros Eyes Secretaries from Matthew Vadum at The American Spectator.

A group backed by Soros is gearing up to steal the 2012 election for President Obama and congressional Democrats by installing left-wing Democrats as secretaries of state across the nation. From such posts, secretaries of state can help tilt the electoral playing field.

This is, of course, the same Soros, the same hyperpolitical left-wing philanthropist who makes no secret of his intention to destroy capitalism.

snip….The vehicle for this planned hijacking of democracy is a below-the-radar non-federal “527″ group called the Secretary of State Project. The entity can accept unlimited financial contributions and doesn’t have to disclose them publicly until well after the election.

It was revealed during a panel discussion at the Democratic Party’s convention last year that the Democracy Alliance, a financial clearinghouse created by Soros and Progressive insurance magnate Peter B. Lewis, approved the Secretary of State Project as a grantee.

snip…At the top of the SoS Project’s slate of candidates for state-level secretary of state positions in 2010 is Minnesota’s radically left-wing Mark Ritchie, a former community organizer whose cavalier attitude toward electoral fraud and whose shamelessly partisan conduct during the recount process cleared the way for Al Franken to steal last year’s U.S. Senate election from then-Sen. Norm Coleman (R-Minn.). Ritchie was first elected Minnesota secretary of state in 2006. Franken and Obama, by the way, were endorsed last year by ACORN Votes, ACORN’s federal political action committee.

ACORN founder Wade Rathke Wanted Bombing Attack at ‘08 RNC Convention to Succeed

The FBI informant on the attempted bombing attack at the Minneapolis 2008 RNC Convention has written about his experience with ACORN at Big Government. He writes not only about the planned ACORN bombing at the RNC Convention but also his experience with ACORN in New Orleans post Katrina. Brandon Darby came across a blog posting by Wade Rathke discussing Darby and the planned bombing. The results aren’t too surprising considering the source.

Former Leftist Activist, Turned FBI Informant, Pulls Back the Curtain On ACORN

by Brandon Darby

I wondered the same thing on January 31st of 2009 when I was reading an ACORN blog that is run by Wade Rathke (the man who claims credit for founding ACORN). He devoted an entire page to my work with the FBI. How did he describe the FBI’s effort and success in preventing innocent Americans, local police and federal agents from being burned, maimed and/or possibly killed by firebombs? He wrote that it’s “one thing to disagree, but it’s a whole different thing to rat on folks. That is what ACORN’s founder had to say about my role in stopping a bomb plot.

Darby also highlights another radical that Rathke references who was involved with the defense of the bomb planners:

Ms. Fithian has been quoted in various mainstream news articles as saying, “Nonviolence is a strategy. Civil disobedience is a tactic, and “Direct action is a strategy. Throwing rocks is a tactic. She is also quoted as stating that “When people ask me, ‘What do you do?’ I say, ‘I create crisis’, because crisis is that edge where change is possible.

Hmmmm. Where have we heard that before? Oh yes, Rahm ‘never let a crisis go to waste’ Emmanuel.

BTW, Matthew Vadum in a story at American Spectator confirms and links to the Wade Rathke blog posting.

2008 Election and the demise of the Media

Carl M. Cannon at Inside Politics Daily has written an extensive article on media malfeasance during the 2008 election. Included in this article is a bit of the history of ‘journalism’ in the U.S. in relation to politics. Get past the first couple paragraphs and the story of the disservice the media played to Americans is exhibited time after time.

The continual attacks on Sarah Palin with lies and distortions by the networks, cable and print was a coordinated assault orchestrated by the Democrats which showed the media to be in the pocket of the Democrat machine.

This assertion by Cannon was interesting:

That this might pose a problem never dawned on the men and women who controlled the media – even as it drove their right-of-center readers and viewers away in droves. When I tell my friends working in places like The New York Times that they created Rush Limbaugh, they respond with shock and disbelief. But it’s obvious to me that it’s true, even as the anointed sages of the Old Media solemnly denied that an animal such as “liberal bias” existed at all. It’s like that scene in the fire swamp in “The Princess Bride” when Buttercup expresses fear of “R.O.U.Ses.” Replies our hero Wesley: “Rodents Of Unusual Size? I don’t think they exist” – just as one is about to chomp his arm off.

One particular assault I had not known about:

The most egregious example was posted on Daily Kos on Sept. 12, 2008 by Paul Lewis Hackett III, a trial lawyer and U.S. Marine Corps veteran of Iraq, who ran in 2005 for a vacant seat in the House from Ohio’s second congressional district, losing narrowly in a district President Bush had carried easily just a year earlier.

Fretting that the Obama campaign was going to lose Ohio to McCain, Hackett proposed his own solution: A series of savage attacks on the GOP ticket focusing on Sarah Palin and her family. Here is what he wrote:

The message (would be) simple and the professionals can refine it but essentially it should contain these elements: Sarah Palin? Can’t keep her solemn oath of devotion to her husband and had sex with his employee. Sarah Palin? Accidentally got pregnant at age 43 and the tax payers of Alaska have to pay for the care of her disabled child. Sarah Palin? Unable to teach her 16 year old daughter right from wrong and now another teenager is pregnant. Sarah Palin? Can you trust Sarah Palin and her values with America’s future?

Apparently, Hackett took the rumors of an affair from the National Enquirer, which offered no proof, or even evidence. He then segued into an even uglier line of attack, arguing that it’s irresponsible to bring a handicapped baby into the world. This is not “pro-choice,” it’s pro-eugenics. It’s also creepy and illiberal, and reinforces conservatives’ worst fears about Democrats and the issue of abortion. And, oh yes, Bristol Palin’s age was wrong. She was nearly 18 when Hackett wrote this screed, not 16. This proved a harbinger, too, as misinformation slipped easily from the left blogosphere into mainstream coverage.

Cannon goes on to list many of the lies and distortions promoted by the media throughout the campaign and after. The fear and loathing of Sarah Palin by these so called ‘journalists’ and professional media types is alive and well today.

Sarah ‘Barracuda’ Palin and the Piranhas of the Press

The only conclusion one can reach is that the Democrats and Media are very afraid of Sarah Palin’s appeal to those who live in ‘flyover’ country. Thus their psychotic need to destroy the woman and her family at their own peril and demise.

Letterman-Another Apology with a But

Here’s my theory, when an apology is followed by a but it is not an apology. Supposed ignorance is not an apology. That’s what Letterman is claiming with his non-apology. He didn’t really know that the Palin’s 14 year old daughter was at the game. It’s okay to have an open season on the 18 year old daughter though and to call Gov. Sarah Palin a slut.

Letterman still doesn’t believe he said anything wrong. The hate and fear of Sarah Palin on the Left is so visceral that Letterman’s ‘joke’ to most Lefties is nothing to see here, just move along. Anything said about the Palin’s is acceptable, nothing is out of bounds.

Now Barack Hussein Obama is saying U.S. might be a Muslim country!

Have the Obama’s ever found their ‘Christian church’ to attend in Washington DC? I don’t think I’ve heard nor have I seen any over the top reporting on the church attendance by the Barack Hussein Obama family. Interesting considering that BHO has told a French news outlet that the US could be a Muslim country.

But it was verboten to even mention Barack’s middle name of Hussein all during the campaign. Why that was just Racist!

From the Telegraph – Barack Hussein Obama: US “one of the largest Muslim countries in the world”

As ABC’s Jake Tapper and Sunlen Miller astutely outline here, the Obama administration is embracing the new president’s inner Muslim, as it were, with deputy national security adviser that Obama had “experienced Islam on three continents…growing up in Indonesia, having a Muslim father — obviously Muslim Americans [are] a key part of Illinois and Chicago”.

So that’s once, twice, three times a Muslim?

Just in case the Arab world hasn’t yet got this message of inbuilt tolerance, Mr Obama himself has gone a step further. In an interview with France’s Canal Plus released on Tuesday evening, he suggested that the United States might be a Muslim country.

Considering that Muslim’s maybe makeup 2% of the US population I’d say that’s quite a stretch of the truth by Obama. But that appears to Obama’s strongest suite. Making up facts to suit whatever it is that he wants to say.

This is why I’m not big on Mitt Romney

Romney: Much of Massachusetts’ Mandatory Health Care Plan Could be Applied Nationwide

According to The Journal, “What really whipped along RomneyCare were claims that health care would be less expensive if everyone were covered. But reducing costs while increasing access are irreconcilable issues. … The real lesson of Massachusetts is that reform proponents won’t tell Americans the truth about what ‘universal’ coverage really means: Runaway costs followed by price controls and bureaucratic rationing.

AWNAA…..Americans With No Abilities Act

It’s about time a bill of this importance is presented to legislators!

Americans With No Abilities Act (AWNAA)

WASHINGTON, DC – Congress is considering sweeping legislation, which provides new benefits for many Americans. President Elect Obama will have the opportunity to sign the The Americans With No Abilities Act (AWNAA) which is being hailed as a major legislation by advocates of the millions of Americans who lack any real skills or ambition.

No stone will be unturned with this legislation. It is meant to assist all those Obama voters who were so uninformed in their vote!

Chief Justice Roberts Agrees to Read Obama Birth Docs

Attorney Orly Taitz is nothing but unrelenting and kudos to her. She is a force to be reckoned. She confronted Justice Scalia a week ago and now maneuvered a question to the Chief Justice at a lecture at the University of Idaho.

Chief justice publicly accepts WND’s eligibility petition

“I addressed him in front of 800 people in the audience,” Taitz told WND, “including university officials, the president of the Idaho State Bar and the chief justice of the Supreme Court of Idaho, and in front of all them, [Roberts] promised to read my papers.”

snip….”I addressed him in front of 800 people in the audience,” Taitz told WND, “including university officials, the president of the Idaho State Bar and the chief justice of the Supreme Court of Idaho, and in front of all them, [Roberts] promised to read my papers.”

Here’s the good part:

snip…”I said, ‘Justice Roberts, my name is Orly Taitz. I’m an attorney from California, and I got up at 3 o’clock in the middle of the night, flew and drove thousands of miles just to ask you a question. So please give me some leeway,’” Taitz told WND. “My question is, do you know there is illegal activity going on in the Supreme Court of the United States?”

According to Taitz, the room was stunned silent as she continued, “I have presented my case to you, and you personally agreed to hear this case in conference. But your clerk refused to forward a supplemental brief to you. He has hidden this brief from you. He refused to put it on the docket. Additionally, my case was erased from the docket one day after the Inauguration, two days before my case was to be heard.

“Outraged citizens and members of the media and state representatives are calling the Supreme Court, demanding to have the case reentered on the docket,” Taitz told Roberts.

Then she held up the WND petition and continued, “Moreover, here are the names of U.S. citizens who signed this petition and who sent individual letters to individual justices, including you, Justice Roberts, all of them demanding the same thing – that you hear my case in regards to Barack Hussein Obama’s eligibility for presidency.”

According to Taitz, Roberts approached the microphone and said, “I see you have papers. I promise you I will read all your papers, I will review them. Please give them to my Secret Service and I will review all of them.”

Chief Justice Roberts, let’s get this question answered once and for all, whether it be true or false, the citizens of the United States deserve to know the truth about Barack Hussein Obama.

Looking at Sarah Palin

I found this semi-biography of Sarah Palin written in a blog post far more introspective than anything I’ve seen to date. It’s a great look into the shaping of Sarah Palin’s character and values.

Who Is Sarah Palin?

Last month, I read Lorenzo Benet’s unauthorized biography of Sarah Palin, “Trailblazer,” and this week I watched John Ziegler’s complete interview with Sarah Palin.

The question I asked myself after finishing both is the same question I’ve been asking myself since August 29, 2008: Who is Sarah Palin?

Many who know her say that she is exactly the person that she appears to be. And, yet, no one is ever quite what they appear because they appear to be many things to many people. A person as complex and intriguing as Sarah Palin is certainly not that simple. However, complexity does not imply cunning or deceptive manipulation. A person can be honest, straightforward, and completely without guile and yet still be complex.

snip……If you’ll indulge me, I’d like to take my stab at a biographical sketch of the good Guv. It won’t be exhaustive. I will no doubt return to various themes over time. But here’s a first draft. And it is really only a draft. I haven’t resolved the mystery of her entirely — no one can or perhaps should — but here’s what I think.

This woman isn’t going away, the more I learn about her, the more I believe she is a force of the future for the GOP.

There’s a very interesting connection made in this quasi biography between Palin and Reagan. It’s worth the read.
