Obama Campaign Tactics up til election day

As everyone knows the Obama Campaign strategy has been long on rhetoric and short on substance. If there are specific policies stated by Obama, they change with the wind and who he’s speaking to. I read this posting from Hillbuzz a few days ago but I wasn’t ready to publish until I heard Rush read it live on his radio program yesterday.

Obama’s Strategy to demorilize and overwhelm McCain Supporters
:

October 27, 2008 at 5:04 am

Ok, I want to clear my conscious a little. Hopefully you could make a blog post to help some fellow clinton supporters out. I work for a campaign and can’t wait for this week to be over. I was doing it for a job. I was not a fan of any candidate but over time grew to love HRC.

The internal campaign idea is to twist, distort, humiliate and finally dispirit you. We pay people and organize people to go to all the online sites and “play the part of a clinton or mccain supporter who just switched our support for obama”. We do this to stifle your motivation and to destroy your confidence. We did this the whole primary and it worked. Sprinkle in mass vote confusion and it becomes bewildering. Most people lose patience and just give up on their support of a candidate and decide to just block out tv, news, websites, etc. This surprisingly has had a huge suppressing movement and vote turnout issues. Next, we infiltrate all the blogs and all the youtube videos and overwhelm the voting, the comments, etc. All to continue this appearance of overwhelming world support. People makes posts to the effect that the world has “gone mad”. Thats the intention. To make you feel stressed and crazy and feel like the world is ending. We have also had quite a hand in skewing many many polls, some we couldn’t control as much as we would have liked. But many we have spoiled over. Just enough to make real clear politics look scarey to a mccain supporter. Its worked, alough the goal was to appear 13-15 points ahead. see, the results have been working. People tend to support a winner, go with the flow, become “sheeple”.

The polls are roughly 3-5 points in favor of Barack. Thats due to our inflation of the polls and pulling in the sheeple. Our donors, are the same people who finance the MSM. Their interests are tied, Barack then tends to come across as teflon. Nothing sticks. And trust, there were meetings with Fox news. The goal was to blunt them as much as possible. Watch Bill Oreilly he has become much more diplomatic and “fair and balanced” and soft. Its because he wants to retain the #1 spot on cable news and to do that he has to have access to the Obama campaign and we worked hard at stringing him a long and keeping him soft for an interview swap. It worked and now he is anticipating more access. So he is playing it still soft.

This is why nothing sticks.

The operation is massive, the goal is to paint a picture that is that of a winner, regardless of the results. There is no true inauguration draft or true grant park construction going on. There will be a party, but we are boasting beyond the truth to make it seem like the election is wrapped up.

Our goal is to continue to make you lose your moral. We worked hard at persuasion and paying off and timing and playing the right political numbers to get key republican endorsements to make it seem even more like it was over and the world was coming to an end for you all.

There is a huge staff of people working around the clock, watching every site, blogs, etc. We flood these sites. We have had a goal to overwhelm.

The truth is here. I could go on and on, but you get the picture.

I am saying this because I know HRC was better for the country, and now realize this. I was too late by the time I connected to her. To me Barack was just a cool young dude that seemed like a star. I didn’t know him or his policies, but now I understand more than I care to and I realize his interests are more for him, and the DNC and all working like puppets with dean. I always thought a president wanted the better good for the country. The end result I see is everyone dependent on the government, this means more and more people voting for the DNC. This means the future is forever altered. I don’t see this as america, so I am now supporting John Mccain.

Sarah Palin is a huge threat, and our campaign has feared her like you can’t imagine. If it seems unfair how she has been treated, well its because she has had a team working round the clock to make her look like a fool. this is a big conspiracy and I am so shocked that its not realized.

We released a little blurb the other day that the Obama campaign was already working on reelection and now putting our efforts towards 2012. This was to make it seem like it was above us to continue caring about 2008. Trust me, its a lie. David is very smart, but its a sticky ugly not very truthful kind of intelligence.

Its not over yet, but I think the machine is working. And its a hill to climb.

I will be quitting my post on nov 5th and my vote will be for John Mccain. Fortunately, my position has been a marketing position and I don’t feel I had any part of anything I would feel guilty for. But I look forward to getting out of this as the negativity and environment upsets me.

I wish you all well, and goodluck.

PS my name is not really sarah. but I am a female and I understand your plight.

Interestingly enough, the Times Online has a story talking about how the Obama campaign needs to reduce expectations (if he wins the election) after promising the world to his followers.

Barack Obama lays plans to deaden expectation after election victory

Barack Obama’s senior advisers have drawn up plans to lower expectations for his presidency if he wins next week’s election, amid concerns that many of his euphoric supporters are harbouring unrealistic hopes of what he can achieve.

The sudden financial crisis and the prospect of a deep and painful recession have increased the urgency inside the Obama team to bring people down to earth, after a campaign in which his soaring rhetoric and promises of “hope and “change are now confronted with the reality of a stricken economy.

One senior adviser told The Times that the first few weeks of the transition, immediately after the election, were critical, “so there’s not a vast mood swing from exhilaration and euphoria to despair.

Just remember it’s selfish to want to keep what you work hard to earn instead of giving it to some deadbeat who wants to live off of you!

According to ACORN Food Stamps are considered income for mortgages

And you wonder why there was a meltdown in housing and subprime mortgages? All of this was pushed by the Democrats (read: Rep Barney Frank-D,MA and a number of other Democrats) who forced banks to accept this ridiculous concept.

From The Other McCain:

ACORN Housing took credit for developing “several innovative strategies” to get around pesky traditional lending guidelines, which were unfair because they “were geared to middle class borrowers.”
Instead of using passé measures of creditworthiness such as, say, credit history and having an adequate income, ACORN convinced lenders to adopt “more flexible underwriting criteria that take into account the realities of lower income communities.” Henceforth, some banks serving inner cities would accept “less traditional income sources such as food stamps.”

The really sickening aspect of this? None of this has been changed with the whole bailout debacle. ACORN and other left wing ‘nonprofits’/527’s are still in place to shove this down the throats of banks and mortgage lenders with Fannie and Freddie (read: taxpayers) buying up the subprime loans.

Experts affirm Williams Ayers as ghostwriter for Obama book ‘Dreams From My Father’

Jack Cashill has been dogging this for many months.

Experts affirm: Ayers’ wrote Obama’s memoir – Scientific analyses independently find radical’s mark on ‘Dreams From My Father’

Cashill’s expert team includes university professors from the U.S. and England in the statistical analysis of authorship, systems engineers , writers and Ph.D. literary analysts. Most, particularly professors at public universities, asked that their names not be revealed.

Cashill cautions that the data-driven computer analysis is not foolproof, but all of the four independent tests that have been completed point to the same conclusion, that Ayers was heavily involved in the writing of “Dreams.”

One analyst, who used his own proprietary software, wrote to Cashill that there is a “strong likelihood” that the author of “Fugitive Days,” Ayers’ own memoir, ghost-wrote “Dreams From My Father” using recordings of dialog.

The analyst said it’s also possible Ayers served as a “book doctor,” drastically rewriting work Obama already had done.

Once again, where is the media in investigating this man? AWOL.

Wednesday Hero – 10/29/2008

Wednesday Hero was started to put a spotlight on the men and women of the United States military and the bravery their show day in and day out. But on a few occasions a service members of an allied nation has been profiled. Such is the case this week.

Despite being shot twice during an ambush in Afghanistan, an SAS (Special Air Service) soldier from Australia lashed himself to the front of his patrol vehicle so he wouldn’t be left behind if he passed out from loss of blood and kept on fighting.

The Digger is expected to be recommended for a high level bravery award.

Suffering from serious upper body wounds, the soldier struggled on to the front of his SAS long range patrol vehicle (LRPV) and, under heavy fire, used a rope to attach himself firmly between the vehicle’s bull bar and radiator.

Once he was secured, and there was no chance that he would fall off if he fainted, he picked up his rifle and resumed firing at the enemy during a two-hour fighting withdrawal.

SAS troops and their special forces comrades from the Commando Regiment are well aware of the slow and painful death that awaits them if they are captured by the Taliban.

The Digger, who cannot be identified, faded in and out of consciousness, emptying several magazines as volleys of enemy rounds and rocket propelled grenades, rained down around him.

He was finally evacuated from the battle field at high speed still lashed to the front of the LRPV.

A source told The Courier-Mail the Digger was now “up and about” and would recover fully from his serious gunshot wounds. His heroic deeds will be recognised when he is recommended for a high level bravery award.

Several others engaged in the do-or-die battle on September 2 are also in line for top honours.

These brave men and women sacrifice so much in their lives so that others may enjoy the freedoms we get to enjoy everyday.

For that, I am proud to call them Hero.

We Should Not Only Mourn These Men And Women Who Died, We Should Also Thank God That Such People Lived

Wounded TN Marine could use a card of support

I received this email from a friend about a wounded Tennessee Marine who is now at Walter Reed Hospital:

Hi,
There is a Marine at Bethesda with local ties. He is CPL Andrew Rist. He was (WIA) Wounded In Action in Afghanistan a few weeks ago and from the info I have, lost both legs. I do not have a great deal of further info, but do have his address. I know he would appreciate any words of encouragement you feel compelled to send to him. You may never have met this Marine but he is simply a young man who swore an oath, lived up to his word and now could use some encouragement from perfect strangers to help him get through what I am sure is his toughest battle yet. I hope all of you will take a few minutes to let him know that he is being thought of and prayed for.
SEMPER FI

Received an update email:

A quick update:
They just moved Cpl. Andrew Rist to Walter Reed, and I have added his new address below. Also, I spoke to his mother today, they are all from White Bluff TN. She said he is having a very difficult time, needing additional surgeries and it seems having a tough time coming to grip with his injuries. He just got married in Dec. and in July was wounded by shrapnel but put himself back on the line just a few days after receiving those initial wounds, then in August he was severely wounded by an IED resulting in the loss of both legs. He is suffering with continued infections, but after the last surgery they are hoping they have it under control.

So if you have a moment to send a card of support to this Marine please email me at bearcreekledger(insert@)bearcreekledger(insert .)com.

Barack Hussein Obama and Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s idea of sharing the wealth

I think the idea is – ‘I take from you (the taxpayer) and give to me (BO and JW)’.

Here’s a video of Jeremiah Wright’s new home estate!

Oh yeah, America, such an evil empire.

Halloween Pumpkin Carving Ideas – Military and Patriotic Style

Last year I did a posting on pumpkin carving ideas, little did I know what that posting would do for my site traffic a year later. Considering that I do no advertising and most of my content is just linking to other stories, I think my traffic stats are looking good, for this month anyway. Nicely enough this brought my total visits to 300k today.

I had a visitor today looking for Army pumpkin carving ideas and from that search I found these ideas below from The Pumpkin Wizard which has a page of Patriotic and Military Pumpkin pictures and stencils.

They look awesome, now if I only had a pumpkin…….

Some of the stencils are freebies!

Google’s ‘Green’ Hypocrisy

Here’s another example of lefties who extol all things from Al Gore yet it’s more of an attitude ‘as long as it doesn’t apply to me’. Typical leftard rational.

From The Foundry:

As defenders of the free market, The Heritage Foundation fully supports Google’s private sector investments in clean energy technologies. However, there are some troubling nuggets of information buried in today’s New York Times article on Google’s energy interests. Miguel Helft reports:

Google has also increased its lobbying in Washington on energy issues. … Google has gone to great lengths to conceal how much electricity it uses in its data centers. For instance, Google agreed to build a $600 million data center in Oklahoma only after the State Legislature passed a law exempting public utilities from disclosing the energy use of their largest customers. Google has also vowed to be carbon neutral, but unlike its rival Yahoo, for instance, it has refused to reveal its overall carbon emissions.

Just so you understand, Google contends they will be carbon neutral but they will be arbiters of their neutrality. Guess this protects them from the whole Cap and Trade scam of Al Gore. Oh, I forgot, Al Gore owns significant shares of Google stock. Didn’t Google gift this to Gore? Seems to me if the Lieberman energy bill were to pass Google would be subject to reporting their usage so a government bureaucracy could determine their carbon liability. But then Google would probably just buy off the bureaucrat.

Obama’s Tax Hike – first it was for those over $250k, then over $200k and now it’s over $150k

Funny how the closer to the election we get the lower Obama’s tax hike target becomes. Yes, we all remember his $250,000. I wonder if the media will bother to note the downward slide for Obama’s tax hike.

Wizbang notes
Obama’s first slide downward from $250,000 to $200,000. That was from yesterday, Oct. 27th.

Now today there’s a video out of Biden using the $150,000 target as those to receive a tax hike.

I can’t wait to see what the income number will be by this time next week. But for those of us who have never believed Obama or Biden (you can call them Socialist, Communist or Marxist-doesn’t really matter since they all mean to steal from one person to give to another undeserving person) you know tax hikes will affect all of those who actually pay income taxes.
