Sarah Palin interview last night - ham fisted editing
I watched the first interview with Sarah Palin and Charlie Gibson last night. I didn’t watch ABC news but I did watch it on You Tube. I’m not linking to it since it will probably be yanked due to copyright infringement.
Kirsten Powers at the NY Post pretty much mirrors my reaction to the interview. While Palin’s responses seemed canned, ABC’s editing had Palin being cut off mid word. I also saw Gibson as angry and accusatory while Palin kept a smile on her face. One refreshing aspect of Palin’s skill as a public speaker, there were no ums, ahs and you knows. All of which are favorites of Barack Hussein Obama’s tortured extemporaneous speaking style.
I thought her response on NATO was good since Gibson didn’t realize what the responsibilites of member NATO nations.
ABC’S BUNGLES - BOTCHES MAR PALIN INTERVIEW

Her responses to Gibson’s cross-examining seemed canned and rehearsed, a little like the answers you might give in a tough college interview. But that may be a result of the ham-fisted editing - which seemed to cut her off mid-thought on many answers. ABC should release the entire, unedited interview, so that Americans can judge her more fairly.
The biggest concern is that she appeared to not know what the Bush Doctrine is. There are, in fact, different definitions of it - but all have had an impact on this nation. One hopes Palin is more up to speed than she seemed.
Of course, she needs to be questioned on many issues - but this interview left us with little new information about her.
I’m waiting for any anchor to interview Barack Hussein Obama in such an aggressive style. I’d like to hear more about many of Barack’s close friends and associates from Chicago.
