Freedom, Liberty and Sacrifice
Remember on this July 4th - Freedom isn’t Free.
Today there is a family in Clarksville, TN who will be burying their son, SPC Joshua L. Plocica.
SPC Joshua L. Plocica, 20, of Clarksville, TN, died June 25, 2008 in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds suffered when his vehicle encountered an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 66th Armor Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.
SPC Plocica, a Clarksville soldier, following in the footsteps of his family members when he enlisted in the Army in August 2006, shortly after graduating from Rossview High School. His Grandfather, Army retired Chief Warrant Officer 3 Michael T. True, and his Uncle, Master Sgt. William C. Clark, served their country, and Spc. Plocica wanted to do his part and follow in their footsteps……..SPC Plocica would want his family and friends to celebrate his life, not mourn his death, his mom said.
Patriot Guard will be standing in honor and respect for this American who gave his all for his country.

Burying a defender of freedom on July 4 is tough.
May the family know that so many Americans today truly appreciate the sacrifice given!
