Last week Patriot Guard did a rather harrowing escort for the Wounded Warriors Project in downtown Nashville. It was the start of the CMA Music Festival so there was just a little bit of traffic for afternoon rush and with 30 or so motorcycles, 3 cages and a bus making stops at hotels without a LEO escort - that’s called harrowing! Sgt Rodney Watts of the 101st Aviation Brigade was one of the soldier’s we escorted. He’s a singer and songwriter! Rodney was such fun to meet and chat with that night. He was hoping to win one of the autographed guitars at the fundraiser held at Hooters. The man was lucky that night because he did win a guitar. We had fun night, it isn’t often that I get to Hooters! I would have taken pictures but unfortunately I had removed the flash card from my camera and forgot to re-insert the card. D’oh!
