Ruh Roh. Bob Barr wins LP nomination

This is not good news for John McCain. Not that I think Barr could win the election but we could be seeing 1992 all over again and a Clinton could actually win the White House with a third of the votes. But then, it could be Barack Hussein Obama too or maybe it could be both of them on the ticket?

LP Convention from Robert McCain at the American Spectator Blog.

Look at the issues between Barr and McCain:

Illegal Aliens - both are for open borders and amnesty

GWOT - McCain supports our fight. Barr not so much, he’s more Ron Paul like on this issue.

Global Warming/energy/domestic drilling - McCain is a Global Warming believer, against drilling in ANWAR, for Cap and Trade. Barr - none of the above (as far as I know at this time)

Spending - McCain and Barr are both spending hawks although I’d say that Barr would probably be more so than McCain.

I’m sure that are infinitely more issues to compare as time goes on.

Barr will definitely go after the Conservative voters that John McCain seems to disdain.

Dear John,

“My Friend”, you’re screwed again!
