Berkeley CA, the center for Intolerance

Berkeley CA’s jihad against the USMC crescendoed on Tuesday to a huge protest between Code Pink and Pro-Troop Supporters. Move America Forward obtained permits for their Pro-Troop Rally but Code Pink and all their anarchist supporters weren’t about to allow any stinkin’ permit to get in their way and law enforcement for not only the City of Berkeley but also the state of California wasn’t going to stand in Code Pink’s way.

Just another example where the left only stands for the 1st Amendment for them. They are all for the suppression of Freedom of Speech for anyone who disagrees with them.

Michelle Malkin has The Berkeley after-action report.

ZombieTime is in the process of loading photos and video from yesterdays event.

Berkeley schools allowed their teachers and students to attend the protest……nice use of taxpayer dollars. Good training though……

Anarchist in training

Their parents must be so proud.

And here’s that pimp word again, but in this context I’m sure NBC would approve

Here’s how Code Pink supports the troops and just wants to bring them home. Yep, that’s all they really want to do is bring the troops home. They really do support the troops, just not the war. Truly, they do.

This is why most troop supporters don’t believe people who always say they support the troops but not the war. Cause usually, they really don’t support the troops.

Senator Jim DeMint has sponsored the Semper Fi 2008 bill to defund earmarks to Berkeley but Senate Majority Leader Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) blocked the bill yesterday.

i really disagree. the soldiers of this country fight injustice to see that we have the right to say whatever we want, beligerent as it may be, ignorant as it may be, idiotic as it may be. they should be proud of people usuing their right to protest. i have protested several times. my father and grandfather are army veterans. my uncle is a marine corp. vet. i have a cousin in the marines and one in the air force. a friend serving in iraq right now. my best friends boyfriend is serving in japan. i also have two friends getting ready for their active duty tours to “undisclosed” locations right now. i support our troops to the fullest extent anyone civilian possibly could. i send care packages and letters to soldiers i’ve never met because i know they need some support, to feel needed and loved when they are so far from everyone they love. but i DO NOT support a war that i believe not a single one of them should be fighting. they are not fighting from our freedom of anything. they have found no one that poses any direct threat to the united states as a whole. i do not support this war, it is not ours to be fighting. we are the ones who basically started this war, for what? revenge? really? is this the next star wars movie? we don’t need to get even. no man should play god. it isn’t an eye for an eye until our judgement day. so who died and left george w. bush to be judge?

and what you’re saying right now is also trying to suppress your oposers views as well as belittle and mock them. i may not agree with what you have to say, but i’m not going to talk down to you or make you feel stupid. isn’t it written in the bible to treat others as you wish to be treated. i’m sure there are other ways you could have worded this article, not to be quite so demeaning. this isn’t the o’reilly factor.

anyways, best of wishes, and i hope i was helpful.
