Star of “The Unit”, spokesman for Allstate Insurance Anti-Military
This man thinks anyone who joins the military is an ignorant vigilante

Yes, Dennis Haysbert who is the lead actor in “The Unit” on CBS, the spokesman for Allstate Insurance and the voice for the Military Channel’s commercials – “Go Behind the Lines” is a leftwing looney who thinks our military are nothing but a bunch of stupid vigilantes.
This past weekend one of the women who rode to Kingsport, Tn with us has a son who recently graduated from the Air Force Academy. She had a very interesting story to tell about Dennis Haysbert. Her son’s Air Force Academy roommate was taken on a trip to Europe by his brother. This brother happens to be an actor on the soap “The Bold and the Beautiful” was so proud of his brother he took him on this trip as a graduation gift. While in Europe (and my friend thinks it could have been in Cannes) the two brothers ran into Dennis Haysbert.
When introducing his just graduated brother to Haysbert he told of his recent accomplishment in graduating from the Air Force Academy and that his brother was going to pilot training, the brothers both got a totally unexpected reaction and response from Dennis Haysbert.
Haysbert told the recent Air Force graduate how stupid he was to have made a career choice of the military and he thought the military was nothing but a bunch of vigilantes who were murdering and killing innocent civilians in Iraq. Haysbert also believes that the US Government was responsible for the attack on September 11th, 2001 and this was just Bush’s excuse to invade Iraq to take control of Iraq’s oil. The Iraq War is all about oil and the military is fighting for nothing more than oil.
Then he also went on to tell them that he believes the US Government has everyone’s home and phone bugged and they are listening to everything we all are saying.
Another Hollyweird lefty who is more than willing to prostitute themselves as portraying an American soldier yet thinks they are nothing but a bunch of ignorant killers.
I understand I am relaying this story secondhand, I do have the relevent names involved but I do not want to cause a problem for these young men just starting their military careers. I have no doubt that sooner or later Dennis Haysbert will display his true colors in a public recordable forum instead of just insulting one young Air Force graduate in a random meeting. BTW – the actor brother was appalled and repeatedly apologized to his Air Force brother for the rude behavior of Haysbert.

Apparently with respect to our military, his response to the question “Are you in good hands” would be a resounding “no.” I wonder if State Farm really wants this guy for their spokesman . . .
To Mustang… first and foremost “Are you in good hands” is the motto of Allstate. So I don’t know what State Farm would think, nor do I think they would care. I do not know this guy or much about him so my response is unbiased. I just think that unless you have firsthand knowledge of what someone says or does then you shouldn’t speak on it. Additionally, as this is the internet and anonymity is a given – I mean, who are you anyway? What is your purpose in bad mouthing this guy? Did he do something to you personally that upset you? Now, maybe this did happen and maybe he did say it, I wasn’t there so who knows what happened.. but who cares? Didn’t your parents ever tell you that opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one. The very nature of an actor is to lie. They are PAID to pretend to be someone else, doing some job, interacting with people in a specific way at the direction of the director, with words by a writer and for the entertainment of the public. The person on the big screen is just fantasy – they may or may not be anything like their character. So it has always mystified me as to why people walk up to a perfect stranger like they know them and when that actor turns out to be less than you expected – people flip out. So again, who really cares what this guy thinks. He is paid to do a job and apparently does it well.
All heresay…………
Nice propaganda from a right-wing war-profiteering fake hypo-christians. But just FYI, as a Vietnam war entertainer (www.thedebutantesband.com), wars are immoral, there is no winner, we are not killing to “defend” our country, and those who join up have been brainwashed.
