I traveled a great deal last year, had a lot of connections and a lot of time sitting in airports and I could NOT believe how people treated the troops. I saw exactly what you describe. I even saw one man so determined to NOT look at the troops that he fell over a chair.

I went to each one I could and thanked them. Even got some hugs! Certainly got a lot of smiles!
