Patriot Guard Tennessee had an escort mission yesterday for this replica Liberty Bell. Here’s the forum information :

Mr. David Hall, PGR member from Texas, will be bringing the last remaining traveling replica of the original Liberty Bell to Martinsburg, WV to participate in the HOTH mission honoring Mr. Frank W. Buckles, one of the last 3 surviving Veterans of World War I. He will be traveling with an ABC News crew who will be filming his journey as well as the mission for Mr. Buckles for an upcoming segment of Good Morning America. Mr. Hall has requested PGR escort for as much of his journey as possible.

I didn’t attend this mission but know from the forum thread that things got extremely challenging yesterday afternoon for the drive through Nashville due to the Titan’s game. I’m hoping to join the mission for the bells trip back home to Texas.

Just watching the video gives me goosebumps. How awesome it would be to have the bell at one of our fallen soldier’s funeral.
