It’s hard to keep up with all the new definitions with the Dhimmicrats and it’s lap dog the Washington Post.  When some lawmakers recently visited the Green Zone in Baghdad thumbnail bio’s were distributed of the lawmakers.  The bio’s inlcuded quotes and how the lawmakers voted on war issues.  According to Jonathan Weisman at the WaPo this is now to be considered “sliming”!

The sheets of paper seemed to be everywhere the lawmakers went in the Green Zone, distributed to Iraqi officials, U.S. officials and uniformed military of no particular rank. So when Rep. James P. Moran Jr. (D-Va.) asked a soldier last weekend just what he was holding, the congressman was taken aback to find out.

In the soldier’s hand was a thumbnail biography, distributed before each of the congressmen’s meetings in Baghdad, which let meeting participants such as that soldier know where each of the lawmakers stands on the war. “Moran on Iraq policy,” read one section, going on to cite some the congressman’s most incendiary statements, such as, “This has been the worst foreign policy fiasco in American history.”

The truth hurts and we can’t have that!  The information in Iraq is all controlled by the military industrial machine – that’s what this supposed “journalist” would have you believe.  There’s no commentary what so ever included in this “news” story!

A northwest suburban gun manufacturer was the focus yesterday as two high-profile Chicago clergy leaders led a demonstration outside the plant.

Revs. Jesse Jackson and Michael Pfleger, along with about 150 anti-gun violence protesters, were met by dozens of Lake Barrington residents and pro-gun enthusiasts when they arrived outside of D.S. Arms gun manufacturer.

snip…D.S. Arms, a 20-year-old institution, manufactures semi-automatic assault rifles and does not sell to the public. They have about 20 clients, consisting of law enforcement and the military, said Michael Danworth, legal counsel for the company.Gun advocates sent a foul message to Jackson and his supporters.

…In addition to enlarged posters of the book cover Shakedown: Exposing the Real Jesse Jackson hanging outside the plant, cow manure was spread in the middle of the road reserved for the rally and march. The area had to be cleaned before the protest began. When asked if the D.S. had knowledge of why the manure was on the road, an attorney for the company said no, but speculated as to why it was there.

“When you have got what we see in Rev. Jackson coming out here and promoting disinformation, to us that stinks to high heaven,� Danworth told reporters.

After months of flirting and “testing the waters,� former Sen. Fred Thompson finally turned his unofficial presidential campaign into an official one today, declaring that he would indeed be running for president.

Thompson will be announcing Sept. 6 through a Web cast and will then have a grassroots tour of early primary states including New Hampshire and South Carolina before concluding it in his hometown of Lawrenceburg, a source present on a mid-afternoon conference call with the former Senator’s camp confirmed.

The race is on!

Did you hear about the deaf mute illegal alien? No, this is no joke. A deaf mute illegal alien by the name of Oswaldo Martinez of El Salvador who is charged with raping and killing 16 year old Brittany Binger was found incompetent due to his inability to communicate. So, what did the courts do? Why they sent him to a sign language hospital for the last TWO YEARS!!

On Monday, Circuit Judge Samuel Powell ordered Martinez transferred to Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail so that he can have more contact with his attorneys, Timothy Clancy and Edward Webb. Powell also appointed a sign-language interpreter to work with Martinez and his attorneys.

“Western State was tasked with teaching him sign language — they have done that,� Williamsburg-James City County Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Nate Green said. “They have given him communication skills. Anybody that knows sign language can communicate with Mr. Martinez.�

Martinez is charged with rape, murder, sodomy and robbery in connection with Binger’s death. Investigators believe the teen was jumped from behind near the entrance to a mobile home park on Jan. 2, 2005, then raped and killed.

Binger’s body was found near an abandoned shed where Martinez had lived. Martinez’ DNA was found under the teenager’s fingernails, police have said.

If convicted, Martinez could face the death penalty.

Now, don’t you feel better knowing this scumbag was able to suck up 2 years worth of sign language training just to go to trial so we can kill him? I wonder how many American citizens were denied this service so this illegal alien rapist murderer could learn sign language?

China is blaming Mattel Inc. for their defective products and quality control. Course, China’s only requirement for quality control is get the product out the door as fast as possible never mind if there’s lead or rat poison in the product. For China ( A COMMUNIST REGIME & COUNTRY) it’s all about short term gain and saving face. There is no transparency. Personally, I do believe Mattel Inc. and the dog food companies deserve all the blame that can be slapped at them. When you trust a Communist regime you deserve to get your hand cut off.

China says toy recall scare shows protectionist agenda

Mattel has only itself to blame for a huge toy recall that has stoked global alarm about Chinese-made goods, state media said on Thursday, charging that a slew of foreign safety scares had exposed a protectionist agenda.

snit…..Coming in the wake of warnings over Chinese-made toothpaste, pet food, tires, eels and seafood, and lethal chemicals that had found their way into medicine, the toy recall has magnified calls in Washington for much tougher scrutiny of such imports.

The overseas edition of the People’s Daily, the ruling Communist Party’s official paper, continued Beijing’s recent counter-offensive, putting the spotlight on multinationals that have used China as a production base.

“If it comes down to blame, then it all lies with the U.S. side,” the paper said of the Mattel magnet recall, noting that the problem was a design defect. “The Chinese manufacturer only produced according to those specifications.”

A China-based company that let lead in the toy paint would be punished, but even here Mattel must share blame, the paper said, noting that the U.S. firm had worked with it for over a decade.

The paper said foreign media reports about unsafe Chinese food and products were exaggerated and ignored the good record of nearly all the country’s exporters.

Every once in a while you run across one of those “feel good stories”. Those stories that show us just what a person can do when they really want it bad enough. And Ken Leonard has one of those stories.

In 2005, Ken Leonard left his job as a police officer in High Point, North Carolina to go to Iraq to work with a private security firm. In December of that year, Ken, along with five other men in his vehicle and six others in the vehicle behind him, was hit by a roadside bomb outside of Baghdad. “After the bomb went off, I knew exactly what had happened,” Leonard recalled. “My feet got jarred, so I knew they were hit.” While others in his vehicle were injured, he had received the worst of it. He had lost both his feet.

The vehicle behind them pushed Leonard’s to a safer area. But flames were coming out of the air conditioning vents and they had to get out. Leonard crawled from the car and fell to the pavement. “That’s when I saw my feet,” he said. “I could tell they were gone. They were still attached, but they were shredded.”

On July 19, 2007, Ken Leonard went back to North Carolina to get his job back with the police force. To do that he needed to pass the Police Officers Physical Abilities Test, which, among other things, consisted of a 200-yard run to be finished in under 7 minutes, 20 seconds. And he did just that with 24 seconds to spare.

“Somebody told me one time they said, ‘You know, what you’ve lost is just bone and muscle. You’ve still got heart, and you’ve still got, you know, what’s up here,’” Leonard said, pointing to his head.

These brave men and women sacrifice so much in their lives so that others may enjoy the freedoms we get to enjoy everyday. For that, I am proud to call them Hero.

We Should Not Only Mourn These Men And Women Who Died, We Should Also Thank God That Such People Lived
