We hear about these individual acts of terrorism by Muslims on a regular basis but it isn’t attributed to terrorism.

This is what I have dubbed the Sudden Jihad Syndrome, whereby normal-appearing Muslims abruptly become violent. It has the awful but legitimate consequence of casting suspicion on all Muslims. Who knows whence the next jihadi? How can one be confident a law-abiding Muslim will not suddenly erupt in a homicidal rage? Yes, of course, their numbers are very small, but they are disproportionately much higher than among non-Muslims.

This syndrome helps explain the fear of Islam and mistrust of Muslims that polls have shown on the rise since 9/11.

Remember the Muslim who shot up all those people in the Salt Lake City mall? He was a Bosnian Muslim which was never mentioned in any of the stories reported. They just called him a Serbian immigrant. How about the Muslim student at UNC? Turns out this “student” was avenging the death of Muslims around the world.

VDARE and Daniel Pipes remind us of a number of these cases which were never attributed to terrorism but in reality were Muslim on non-Muslim terrorist acts.

And what is the Muslim response in the US to these acts of terrorism by Muslims? They call racism or Islamophobia and stifle any attempt to report accurately what has occurred. PC reporting has been highly effective at covering up the truth.

As they have done in London, the Islamists have been accomodated by eliminating the teaching of the Holocaust in schools. Now we have the Dhimmicrats in the US Congress trying to eliminate the GWOT (Global War on Terror) terminology. Typical tactics for Dhimmicrats. Just change the name, this is the Dhimmicrat solution for all problems. That’s as good as it gets with them.
