Marine home on leave murdered by illegal alien drunk driver
What makes this murder even worse? This illegal alien was caught driving drunk last February and was released. The police say it’s because they didn’t have the evidence to charge him. I’d say it was due to a police screwup. But, the real reason Cpl Brian Matthews is dead is because the police ignore the status of illegal aliens in regards to criminal activity. Not only do most police departments across the country ignore illegal status but if they know or believe the suspect is illegal they will usually not charge the illegal and release them back into the population. It’s called the double standard. Legal immigrants and citizens would be charged with DUI, might have their car confiscated and license suspended.Â
From the WaPo: Crash suspect had Feb. charge (notice the WaPo leaves out any reference to illegal alien in it’s headline).Â
H/T The Stein Report
I wonder how many more citizens need to be murdered by drunk driving illegal aliens before our law enforcement officials and Department of Homeland Security take notice. For those naysayers don’t bother to comment that there are many citizens who drive drunk. This Marine would be alive today if not for illegal alien Eduardo Raul Morales-Soriano!

Update from FayObserver.com: Man charged in driving deaths apparently in U.S. illegally with N.C. driver’s license (headline sounds a bit more accurate)
I also missed that Cpl Matthews date Jennifer Bower was murdered by the illegal alien.Â
A man charged with manslaughter in the drunken-driving deaths of two people was apparently in the U.S. illegally and had obtained a driver’s license in North Carolina, according to immigration officials.
Eduardo Raul Morales-Soriano, 25, of Laurel, has been charged with two counts of homicide by motor vehicle in the deaths of Marine Cpl. Brian Mathews, 21, of Columbia, and Jennifer Bower, 24, of Montgomery Village.
Mathews and Bower, who were on their second date, were killed on Thanksgiving when Morales-Soriano allegedly slammed into the back of their car. Mathews had recently finished eight months of duty in Iraq and planned to leave the military in June.
Morales-Soriano, who police said had a blood-alcohol level four times the legal limit for driving, was not injured in the crash. He was being held in the Howard County Detention Center on $830,000 bail.
Example of why the draft is a bad idea
Some Soldier’s Mom received an email from a wounded Viet Nam veteran. The email in itself is startling, the venom and hatred is palatable from this man. Some Soldier’s Mom responds in an even handed and eloquent manner to this very sad, and in my opinion, deranged man.
H1B Visa holders unhappy about illegal aliens
There’s an interesting discussion in the comments at Stein Report over a Washington Post story about a H1B visa holder who has overstayed his visa (which by the way makes him also an illegal) in trying to obtain a Green card and is unhappy with “fence jumpers” (illegal aliens). There’s so many levels of irony here it’s almost humorous. Half of the illegal aliens in this country are those who came here on Visas. There is a problem with H1B Visa holders working for corporations which have contracts with the government violating National Security. Another issue is reciprocity. For example, India will not hire Americans for H1B like Visas. I’m not sure how these aliens with expired H1B Visas are able to get hired by a corporation unless the corporation is knowingly hiring an illegal. A foreign national has to complete an I9 form along with a copy of their Visa on hire.Â
Some people here are confusing the concepts of “dual intent” and “entitlement.”
For their edification, here’s the difference: when someone applies for and receives H1-B visa permission to work in the United States, this happens with the understanding that it’s a temporary status subject to further applications, including the possible node of travel into the green card status. H1-B visa holders, you understand the concepts of nodes, probabilities and binomial trees, yes? In the structure of the H1-B system, the probability of movement from the node of H1-B term expiration/renewal onto the path of green card status is not, and never was, 100%. Yes?
An entitlement, on the other hand, would presume a 100% probability of earning a green card; if such an entitlement existed and were not granted, Americans might understand the kind of “anger” FAIR cites in the title of this thread. The H1-B was never such an entitlement, however.
What H1-B visa holders DO get as “fruit” of their labor includes pay, benefits and experience. If they’ve saved their money, worked hard and learned, they have much to take home with them when their terms expire. But that’s all they get out of the deal; the same is true for all American citizens who hold jobs in this non-socialist business culture.

Teachers in Chicago of “extraordinary integrity”.
This is almost laughable considering this statement was made about a unionized profession with a considerable number of child molesters in it’s midst! This is a group of professionals who don’t think they can compete in the marketplace without a union. They don’t believe in school vouchers. They are afraid of market competition. Teacher unions always have a load of lame excuses but it all boils down to fear. But they have extraordinary integrity. Excuse me, I think I need to visit the porcelain throne.

CPS spills info of 1,700 ex-employees
CPS = Chicago Public Schools
Chicago Teachers Union officials Monday blasted a security breach that shared the Social Security numbers of 1,700 former Chicago public school employees with hundreds of their colleagues, creating a risk of identity theft.
Here’s the clincher statement:
Victims can at least be assured that their private information “did not go out to some broader audience,” Duncan said. It was shared only with “the CPS family. They are people of extraordinary integrity.”
They are also delusional.

Yes, good old G. Gordon Liddy definitely doesn’t pay attention to political correctness. All of the models for his calendar though are fans of his radio show. Just thought since I put out the 2006 Calendar before Christmas I should provide this service for 2007.Â

Visa Fraud on Embassy Row
I know this sounds like an oxymoron but this is a bit different. This is a chauffeur service run by an Indonesian on an A2 Visa.  Why are there special visas to fulfill a need for chauffeurs? I’d like to know what senator slipped that boner into a bill which was probably unrelated to immigration.Â
H/T to The Stein Report. From Legal Times:
For diplomats from the embassies of Jordan, Brunei, and Benin, Hendarmin Mansoer was the chauffeur who shuttled them through Washington, D.C.’s teeming traffic. To U.S. Embassy officials overseas, however, Mansoer had assumed the identities of some of those same diplomats in a visa-fraud scheme that exploited weaknesses in U.S. border security.
When investigators searched Mansoer’s home in Silver Spring, Md., they recovered stolen embassy letterhead stationery, stamps containing official embassy seals, embassy employment records, and even passports belonging to ambassadors and other embassy personnel from Benin, Brunei, and Jordan. Some of the seized documents included Mansoer’s scrawled handwriting from his practice at forging diplomats’ signatures.
snip….Mansoer, a 44-year-old Indonesian citizen who held an A-2 diplomatic visa through his embassy jobs, filed 63 fraudulent visa applications with U.S. Embassies in Indonesia and Pakistan for scores of paying clients and relatives. Nineteen Indonesians successfully entered the United States after receiving A-3 diplomatic visas from Mansoer, fooling U.S. Embassy officials with false claims they had been hired as housekeepers by diplomats at the three embassies where he worked.

Poor Doug is Air Force, He’s traveling home on leave and has to endure Army base conditions. Life can be so cruel!Â
Finally Cherie Blair says something I can agree with
It’s an odd situation when the Socialist wife of PM Tony Blair makes a statement where I concur wholeheartedly.
From The Independent:
She told a stunned audience that it was “not a noble calling” and journalists “have no ethics”. Then, Mrs Blair – who was at the university in south-west London to open its Human Rights Centre – turned her attention to the Daily Mail and the Press Complaints Commission.

Rangel channeling Kerry
Here’s a tip to the Democrats: our US Military is an all-volunteer force and they aren’t stoopid. The year is 2006, not 1965 or 1950. This isn’t the Korean War or the Vietnam War.

I know this is my crude attempt at photoshop. But I think you get the idea.
From Hot Air Allah Pundit quoting Charlie Rangel on Fox News Sunday:
I want to make it abundantly clear: if there’s anyone who believes that these youngsters want to fight, as the Pentagon and some generals have said, you can just forget about it. No young, bright individual wants to fight just because of a bonus and just because of educational benefits. And most all of them come from communities of very, very high unemployment. If a young fella has an option of having a decent career or joining the army to fight in Iraq, you can bet your life that he would not be in Iraq.
Are Democrats incapable of shaking off the past? They are “stuck on stupid”!
