Brentwood, TN a first ring suburb of Nashville and also a highend burb saw one of Middle TN’s largest drug bust to date. The US Atty said the Pineda Drug Cartel was involved. Recently a local Williamson County Deputy caught a Mexican Federal Officer smuggling drugs into TN on a BUS. The tenacles of the Mexican Cartels is far reaching and dangerous, along with the cartels comes more Mexican and Central American gangs like MS13.

The US Attorney’s office found $1.5 million worth of cocaine in Brentwood, making it the second largest drug bust in Middle Tennessee history.

Monday night, nine people were in jail.

Federal official said the drugs were being brought to Nashville from Mexico. The cocaine equaled 55 kilos worth close to $1.5 million on the streets.

The US Attorney’s office said the Pineda Drug Ring was bringing cocaine from Mexico be sold in the Nashville area.
