2996 – Never Forget

I couldn’t find more than a sentence on Chow Kwan Lam (48 years old) for the 2996 Project.  That’s okay since the purpose of 2996 was for all of us to remember the consequences of that fateful day in September, the 11th day in 2001.  For if we as citizens forget that day and it’s victims, we forget we have a bitter and vicious enemy in our midst and surrounding us around the world.  These Islamic Terrorists want all of us dead and they really don’t care how they accomplish that task.

I think how horrifying a day Chow Kwan Lam had sitting in tower 2 of the WTC.  He worked for the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance which was located on the 86th and 87th floors.  Just a regular guy going and doing his job, commuting from Maywood, NJ that morning.

The US is at war against Islamic Terrorists.  You can’t stick your head in the sand or you may have a surprise like the victims of the WTC or Pentagon or Flight 93 in Pennsylvania.  That’s what the anti-war types want to do. If they pretend hatred doesn’t exist they think it will go away.  They think you can “dialogue” or reason with these Islamic Terrorists, they are flat out wrong.  It’s very simple really.  If you aren’t of their brand of Islam then they want you dead.

I think the above statement rings true on many accounts. You can still be a Muslim, yet be targeted by terrorists because you belong to the wrong “brand” so to speak. Or, the Muslims could be considered infidels because they associate with the “West”.

The U.S. is dealing with a tough, arrogant, and deadly enemy.
