“Border War” – the documentary
When I first started to read this piece from the WaPo I thought it was a hit piece on David Bossie, but eventually the reporter got around to the point of the story. The documentary on illegal aliens. Of course, throughout the piece as the WaPo always does, they refer to illegal aliens as illegal immigrants. I don’t think I’ve ever read a WaPo story that didn’t in some way bend a sympathetic ear to these illegal aliens.
Bossie who also produced the counter documentary (Celsius 41.11)to Michael Moore’s documentary of lies called Fahrenheit 911. In addition of “Border War” Bossie also has 2 more documentaries in the works – one on the ACLU and the other on Hillary Clinton.
Border War:
No longer content to merely unearth documents, Bossie, president of Citizens United, a conservative advocacy group, has turned to documentary-style films to push his causes. His latest contribution to the national political debate is “Border War,” a film he co-produced that makes the case for a serious crackdown on illegal immigration.
snip……
“Border War” does not portray illegal immigrants as economically desperate people who break the law by sneaking across the border then often go on to renew the American dream with their thrift, enterprise and hustle while filling back-breaking jobs that few citizens want.Instead, the film makes the case for tougher border enforcement by focusing on the most unsettling aspects of the nation’s huge illegal immigration problem: the cold-hearted coyotes who guide illegal migrants across the border, sometimes abandoning them in the desert at the first sign of trouble. The illegal immigrants who proposition and even molest young girls in safe houses. Violent criminals who cross the border with impunity. And immigration activists who believe the border has no legitimacy to begin with, because much of the southwestern United States was Mexican territory more than 150 years ago.
Sounds like a good documentary and should be seen by the pro-amnesty wing of the Republican Party. We know this won’t have any affect on Democrat politicians so I won’t bother to recommend they see it.
The movie premieres Sept. 13th in Washington and August 31st in Los Angeles.

A week ago I posted about the ex-Iranian President applying for a Visa to the US for a “Peace Conference” at the Useless Nations. Looks like the State Department kissed butt to the sanctimonious piece of Islamofascist promoting butt kisser Kofi Anan. It isn’t only the Ex-President (Terrorist) Khatami who gets a Visa but his Islamofascist henchmen guards. Wonder if we’ll allow these terrorist murderers to carry weapons? Wonder if they will require US protection from the Secret Service or some other Law Enforcement Agency? Wonder who will be paying for this if that’s the situation?Â
U.S.: Khatami’s Visit Schedule
August 23, 2006 19 33Â GMTFormer Iranian President Mohammed Khatami’s visa is being processed by the U.S. Department of State, with planned stops in early September at Georgetown University, Harvard, Chicago and the University of Virginia, sources said Aug. 23.
From Yahoo News:
The Bush administration, which is in a diplomatic tussle with Tehran over its nuclear plans, will allow Iran’s ex-president  Mohammad Khatami to visit Washington next week, the State Department said on Monday.
Khatami, whose reformist government ceded power last year to current President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has asked for a visa to deliver a speech on reconciliation and other issues at Washington’s National Cathedral on September 7.
“If he (Khatami) does intend to travel to the United States for the purposes for which a visa was requested, then it is my understanding that the visa will be issued,” said State Department spokesman Sean McCormack.
“This was a decision that was made (to allow Khatami a visa),” said McCormack, adding that he did not know whether a visa had been issued yet.
He said there were no plans for U.S. officials to meet Khatami during his proposed visit.
Khatami would be the most high-profile Iranian to visit Washington since ties were severed between the two countries after the 1979 Islamic revolution and 52 Americans were held hostage in the U.S. embassy for 444 days.
There are strict restrictions in place for any Iranians wanting to visit the United States, except for at the United Nations where Iranian diplomats can travel within a very limited area.
I’ve have long been leery of Secr. of State Rice and this only furthers my concern. I find this outrageous.Â

The following excerpts are all from a new book, State of Emergency: The Third World Invasion and Conquest of America. Many people may not read it because of the political baggage of the author, but I’ve read the book, despite my disagreement with the author on other issues, and it is entirely right on the money when it comes to the invasion of our country by foreigners. It occurred to me that many people may miss out on the common sense found within its pages so I’m excerpting a little bit of it here for those who may never read the words otherwise.

PGR and Soldiers Angels Honor and Protect SEAL Hero and Family
PGR and Soldiers Angels did an awesome job over the weekend to protect and honor Navy SEAL Marc Lee and his family. Reading this just makes me proud and humble to know there are people out there who care and care alot about our Military Heroes. What the UG’s (uninvited guests – the scum of the earth) from Westborough do is beyond vile. They deserve all the derision and contempt that SA and PGR can deliver. But the point of SA and PGR is to honor and respect our Heroes who have given all for our country. That SA and PGR can do this in the face of UG’s without violence or recognition to the scum is what makes this an amazing group of people!
Read the account of the day and I guarantee you your eyes will be misting over.

AntiWar but “support the troops” hypocrites
The antiwar idiots must be having their end of summer blow out.Â
From Andi’s World we see an idiot Mayor of Salt Lake City, UT who invited Code Pink to protest the American Legions 88th convention. Way to go Mayor Anderson, good promotion for your city. Veterans not welcome in Salt Lake City. We’ll bring in protestors if you come to our city.
Tanker Brothers have been receiving a fair amount of activity from antiwar idiots. Their “I support the troops but not the war” meme is dishonest. Don’t you wonder why the face of the modern antiwar idiots feel compelled to lie about their motives? Is it because dishonesty is an inherent component of their movement? Is it because they think this will help promote their agenda? Do they really think anyone other than themselves believes this prattle from them? What I find especially interesting is when these deluded idiots take after our active duty milblogging Soldiers. The depth of hostility is tangible toward these guys. I find it almost astonishing.Â
Here’s a sample of the comments over at the Tank Boys:
I am proud to be a friend of Jane Stillwater. On the other hand I would rather have a rattlesnake for a friend than a hate-monger like you.
If you were doing anything for this country you wouldn’t be in Iraq killing innocent people. The Iraqis never did anything to us and even that fraud in the Oval office admits that everything he has said is a bald faced lie. Of course he didn’t use the words lie or bald faced. That AWOL coward does what he has done all his miserable, useless life and blames someone else. I call it what it is.
This country was built on dissent against another (a real) king. He went down in defeat and so will the quack who squats in the oval office. I look forward to the day that this mass murderer has to face war crime charges. I look forward to seeing this abuser of the Constitution in prison. And while I defend our troops, (with exceptions such as brainwashed fools like you), I know that there are members of the military who should be facing those war crimes along with the Commander in Thief.
I would take Jane Stillwater over you macho nut cases and your nut case bosses any day of the week. Jane is interested in going to Iraq as a real journalist. Of course clowns like you and the old war-lord Rumsfeld don’t want the real story to come out so your game is to belittle those who are interested in the truth. Screw you.
You, mister are no hero. You are a traitor to this country and that is how you will be remembered. One only has to look at the science fiction at the bottom of your current page to see what caused your brain damage and since you have done nothing to pull yourself away from the TV and stupid war games, I have absolutely no compassion for you.
Tell me…. how much are you being paid to spew this Nazi ‘bullschitt’?

LA Times Dumpster Diving Update
From August 8th:
LA Times Goes Dumpster Diving: Redux Vietnam
I guess the LAT’s hasn’t found enough to smear the Military with Iraq and Afghanistan. They’ve now gone dumpster hunting to dredge up new stories of horror from the Vietnam War. I’m sure if this gains any legs (which I doubt it will), there will be enough Veterans who will disprove the charges and anecdotal reports.
Well, Thunderrun has posted an update to this story. And guess what? The primary researcher for the story written by the LAT’s was…….
snip…… The only “news” presented in the article was that documents on file in the National Archives appear to support the claim of James Henry, then a 20-year old medic, to have witnessed a war crime in the province of Quang Nam.
Why would the Times make available 4,400 words of valuable space to allow a relatively obscure researcher to expound his theories about the Vietnam War? Because James Henry was one of the men who testified at the Vietnam Veterans Against the War’s signature “war crimes” propaganda effort, the “Winter Soldier Investigation,” held in Detroit in early 1971.
Henry’s own story predated the VVAW event, and was already being investigated by the Army at that time. snip….
Color me unsurprised that the LAT’s has another agenda driven “expose” on the military. Really, what good is truth and honesty or transparency in a story. How could that help the LAT’s smear Veterans, especially when the point of the story is to smear Veterans.
I encourage you to read the original story from August 8th and then read the follow up by Thunderrun.
The Thunder Run: Still Slandering the Troops
Unconventional Warfare and Homicide
WaPo has this extensive story on “few troops tried for killing civilians in Iraq”. What is omitted in the story is the unconventional component of the enemy. When the enemy doesn’t wear a uniform, tries to blend in with non-combatants there is a stress level which I don’t believe any of us who aren’t there can imagine.
The story by the WaPo actually is a decent story but how can these writers put this together without ever mentioning this point baffles me. Asymetrical warfare changes the whole game and if the dominent media can’t recognize this then they have no credibility.
The media are the problem, not the solution. Look at the appalling reporting in Lebanon, the reporting was manipulated and staged by Hezbollah and Reuters was complicit in Hezbollah attaining it’s propaganda goal. Who can trust the media’s war reporting?
If I was a Soldier in one of those conflicts and I saw a reporter I’d probably turn my back on a reporter if they had approached me.
Homicide Charges Rare in Iraq War
Isn’t this just apropo: In Senate there’s a secret hold on an open-government bill
Can you imagine that? That there’s a Senator who is secretly is trying to hold up a transparency in government bill. If you want to help smoke out the good old boy or girl:
It may not stay that way for long, though. The watchdog group Porkbusters, www.porkbusters.org, is trying to smoke out the offender. It’s urging constituents to call their senators and push them to disavow the hold. Senators who go on record against the hold are “removed from the suspect list.”
Let’s find out who doesn’t want “the people” to know how their tax dollars are being spent!
