We met in the Air Force at Langley. I watched and listened to him in the early years while he learned to play and sing with a guitar. In those years, he became my spiritual guide to Christianity. Dan is well read, and is far from ignorant from what it is like in other countrys. He spent time overseas while he served our nation. He comes from a family that worked hard to make a living, and he is now doing the same thing for his family. He became a song writer because it was his life dream to do something with his music. Over the years, Dan's music has always touched me and has spoke the truth about himself, and the things and times that are around us. The situation with illegals is out of control and Dan wrote this song with a sense of humor, but it still comes out true. It is the way most of us feel in America today. He does not care what your race is, only that you come to this country as a documented person. Is that so much to ask of those that come here. I don't think so. I have known Dan for 30 years.
