A group of Hispanic protesters were in front of the Washington County Courthouse in Tennessee while a group of Tennessee Volunteer Minutemen watched. One man marching with the Minutemen was confronted by the Hispanic group because he had a Mexican flag in his back pocket.

Carl Whitaker has been rejected as a member of various groups he claims to represent, including the “minutemen.” And from reports I read, perhaps 2 dozen people total were at this event.
Of course he has a right to protest, campaign, whatever, but when I have heard him speak at numerous public meetings, “weird” is the nicest word I can ascribe to him.
If the local minutemen want to affect real change, why do they not report the businesses that hire illegals?
Publicity for its own sake and engendering fearfulness seem to be his only goals. Did WCYB even air the footage in question?
