Camp Pendleton 8 Blog for Friends of Jerry

Author: I got an email alerting me to this blog in support of Lance Cpl Jerry Shumate. One of the posts talks about setting up a bank account for “Friends of Jerry” at Anchor Bank in Washington which was closed by the bank a couple days later. Why was it closed?
Because ANCHOR BANK decided they would not take sides on this issue. Huh? (Taking “sides” is a whole other issue that will be addressed in a future posting.) Further clarification revealed that they (ANCHOR BANK) were afraid that customers would close their accounts and take their money elsewhere.
The defense attorneys were also given a continuance since the prosecution delivered the investigative documents only a day before the hearing. What kind of BS is that?
