New Websters Dictionary for Democrats

More Mark Steyn witticisms:

You gotta hand it to these guys: “Redeployment” is ingenious. I’ll bet the focus-group consultants were delirious: “surrender,” “lose,”,”scram,” “scuttle ignominiously,” “head for the hills” all polled poorly, but “redeploy” surveyed well with all parts of the base, except the base in Okinawa, where they preferred “sayonara” — that’s “redeploy” in any language. The Defeaticrats have a clear message for the American people. Read da ploy: No new quagmires.

This is the most artful example of Leftspeak since they came up with “undocumented immigrant.” In fact, if it catches on, I’ll bet millions of fine upstanding members of the Undocumented-American community now start referring to themselves as Redeployed Mexicans.

I love Steyn’s new nickname for the Dem’s “Defeaticrats! How clever he is. I think we should put together a new dictionary to translate the meaning of words used by Democrats. Afterall, they now expect us to believe that redeploy doesn’t mean cut and run or retreat.

Course, the same could be said for the pro-illegal alien Republicrats on “earned citizenship” when they really are talking about AMNESTY.

Maybe we should just have a dictionary to translate words attributed as Politically Correct verbiage.

U.S. can’t ‘redeploy’ its way out of Iraq

Hi Toni, hope you’re happy and as madly energetic as usual. Just a note from your market researcher friend – focus groups don’t find out what words “survey best” – he’s saying that to wind up us purists and I have to say, give me a market research project and a psychologist and I’ll tell you the underlying message behind words used by consumers in research.

Note to everybody – nobody writes up focus groups correctly!!! How would you like it if I told you how to annex the Sudetenland (is that how monty python spelled it?). Toni, I’m trying to crack a joke here, ha bloody ha.
