Haditha News from June through December, 2005. Research the media can’t seem to do or maybe it’s because they got the answer they wanted.
Chickenhawk did some research without even using Google and found news reports and photos from June through December of 2005.
Here's part of one story from October 7, 2005:
"It takes two to three hours to bury one of these IEDs" one Marine said. 'There is no way that they have not seen anything if we found two of these IEDs in front of the mosque and found this weapons cache here."
"…most of the IEDs found in Haditha were buried underneath the pavement. Insurgents have come up with ways to tap into the local power supply to keep the batteries on the detonators charged.
Read all the articles and then tell me these are just "innocent" bystanders.
Then you could go read Blue Star Chronicles where a CNN (yes, that's CNN) reporter writes about their travels with Lima Company during the time period this "massacre" occurred.

Even the 76 year old blind guy in the wheelchair? You think he saw something?
Nice cheap shot RNeal. And yeah, he probably did and watched as our Troops were blown up. He’s probably been passively responsible multiple times. That’s ok I guess according to your logic. Good thing you probably don’t have any family deployed to Iraq since you seem to believe it’s okay to blow up American soldiers.
That reporter didn’t see anything? NO WAY! I mean, there were cameras and a reporter for a 24-hour cable news network there and those Marines didn’t shoot any babies point-blank in the face while she was watching?
Well, that settles it. Must not have happened then.
Thanks for the link. I see you have some of the same loving commenters that I have
I’m enjoying your blog – I wish I had been here more before!
The only people I blame for American soldiers getting blown up in Iraq besides the insurgents are George W. Bush, Donald Rumsfeld, and Paul Wolfowitz. It’s very simple logic, in the end. As for cheap shots, I never said I believed it’s “okay to blow up American soldiers.” I just asked a simple question. I support the troops. I support bringing them home to live to fight another day for a just cause. I support not cutting their VA benefits. I believe in holding the chain of command accountable for the lack of planning and that has put our soldiers in harms way such that some of them are dealing with it in a manner not according to American values. Frankly, I’m more than insulted by your assertion that I think it’s OK to blow up American soldiers. That is the worst kind of rhetorical logic. Carry on.
RNeal – I was implying you thought it was just fine for the wheelchair to watch the insurgents plant bombs and then watch it blow our troops up along with civilians. Other than that, you’re logic is the same as the kos kids and not worth much in my book.
