Trend in Male Beach Attire – The Manthong!

Ok, it’s not exactly new because I posted these pics almost a year ago.  But this is one of the most requested searches to my site.  Fox’s Dayside did mention something about this a couple weeks ago.  They were talking about a new poll on a change in trends on what women like with men’s appearances.  Supposedly, this poll said that women like men with love handles, I’m not sure I’m buying it though.  Not that I expect men in their 40’s and on not to be fighting the battle of the love handles.  Just like women fight the battle of thighs, stomach and hips which are ravaged by babies and gravity.  But men pretty much have one area to worry about and that’s their stomach.  All they need are a few ab reps, cut the beer intake and to stop eating over the sink and poof!, off come the love handles.

Unfortunately Dayside didn’t say who, what or where about the poll.  But it did make me think about these pics.

How about this view?

So, what do you think ladies? Love Handles – yay or nay?

Resolution to Require Legislators to Read Constitution Each Year

McCaslin reports that Rep. Conaway (R, TX) has introduced a resolution to require each member of Congress to read the Constitution once a year. How could anyone be against this? I’m wondering though just how would this be verified? Not that I think all legislators are liars, oh no, I would never think that!

Other bits of gossip:
PETA has targeted Tom Selleck because the actor likes to attend rodeos. Oh, the horror! How could Tom condone such atrocities?

Rep. Christopher Shays (R, CT) is co-chairman of that all important Friends of Animal Caucus.

Swifties (Swift Boat Veterans for Truth) have created a new site called Murtha Lied. Captain Larry W. Baily (ret. SEAL) opened a bank account in the name of Vets for Truth help defeat Rep. John Murtha by sending Operation Street Corner missionaries to Murtha’s district in PA. Go Vets for Truth!

It’s The Twilight Zone

Here’s an example of an effective political ad! Seriously, go watch the ad, there’s a creative political genius out there with a great sense of humour!

Vernon Robinson for Congress

Update 6/30:  Well, I can’t believe it but Volunteer Voters thinks this political ad is a fake!  I do believe VV is questioning my integrity!  The noive of that guy.  :)   I refer you to his official site and to his bio on Wikipedia.  I think this guy is quite the character and goes after the likes of Jesse Jackson.  He earns bonus points from me just for having the gumption to take on the likes of Jackson with the result of having racist slurs slammed back at him.  BTW – Robinson is a Black Conservative.

Lost Connection

FINALLY – got my internet connection back!  Late yesterday afternoon it just went poof!  On the one hand, having a satellite connection has been a god-send.  On the other hand, it sucks at times.  But when I think of the alternative (dial up at a reaaaalllly slow rate) guess I’m happy to have this option.

GM Highwire – Auto of the not too distant future

This is just too cool.  It reminds of the video from Bill Hobbs.  It uses water converted to hydrogen to fuel the vehicle.  There’s other features that are amazing too.  From the video they estimate ten to fifteen years for this to make it to market.

Saw this through Pajamas Media which linked to James Hudnall.
Update 6/29: I removed the video code, I’m having an issue with WordPress and embedded video code.  So use the link to James Hudnall to view the video.

United Nation Wants YOUR Guns!

Once again the UN is trying to take away your firearms. It isn’t enough that they want have the ability to tax internationally, they all want to eliminate your 2nd Amendment Rights. Guess who’s one of the country’s in favor of this movement? Mexico!

Here’s the poop:

The illicit trade in small arms and light weapons can be exacerbated by the unregulated possession of small arms and light weapons by civilians not part of responsible military and police forces. The measures below can contribute to addressing this aspect of the illicit trade in these weapons.

(a) States will establish appropriate national legislation, administrative regulations and licensing requirements that define conditions under which small arms and light weapons can be acquired, used and traded by private persons.

(b) States will seriously consider the prohibition of unrestricted trade and private ownership of small arms and light weapons specifically designed for military purposes (e.g., assault rifles, machine guns, grenades and high explosives produced for military purposes).

Luckily we have told this UN Committee a resounding NO twice (Bolton in 2001). Will we always be this well represented at the UN? Do you believe the Liberals or Democrats would protect your 2nd Amendment Right to bear arms? Think about it.

Here’s the story behind “The Patriot Express” for PGR’s: Rick Monday Saves Old Glory 1976

This is a very cool story which started with SSG Francisco Vasquez. This is copied in full from the forum. SSG Vasquez is deployed to Iraq currently. Here’s my original posting on the Patriot Express journey.

My name is SSG Francisco Vasquez. I am a flight medic assigned to the 101st Airborne Division. I am working with the 57th Medical Company (Air Ambulance) ?Original DUSTOFF? out of LSA Anaconda, Balad, Iraq. Our mission is to provide medical evacuation from the battlefield to a higher level of care. We are charged with the responsibility for caring for the most important of all our national treasures; the Service Member. It is because of their sacrifice that we are free. A little over a month ago I contacted a warm and caring lady by the name of Barbara Lee Monday. I told her about an idea I had to commemorate an event that happened thirty years ago at Dodger Stadium. That event was, of course, her husband?s historical save of Old Glory from the hand of protestors determined to set her on fire. Luckily, Rick Monday?s determination was greater. I am truly inspired by that story. That happened on April 25, 1976, a few short months before the 200th anniversary of the Birth of Our Nation. On April 25, 2006 I carried a flag aboard our UH-60 MEDEVAC Helicopter, affectionately known to veterans as an Angel of Mercy. The flag traveled with my crew on several missions, including an Urgent DUSTOFF mission, and a trip to Baghdad for the medical evacuation of wounded warriors on their way to Balad. Those patients were eventually boarded onto planes for Germany, then on to their final trip back to their families in the States. The flag stayed with our crew for the entire duty cycle. I then had a special certificate signed by the entire crew to certify its? authenticity. It was signed by: Pilot in Charge: CW3 Steve Williams, Pilot: 1LT Rebecca Joseph, Crew Chief: Jonathon Mc Cully, and myself, Flight Medic: SSG Francisco Vasquez. This was the first leg of a long journey the flag was about to take. I mailed the flag to Mrs. Monday, who told me she had big plans for the flag. She let me know that she would reveal the plan in due time. I did not know that the wheels for that plan were already set in motion. Those wheels belong to the Patriot Guard Riders. The event planned was something that would span from coast to coast. The ride is the Patriot Express, and the now famous flag has traveled many miles and has been passed through so many hands in a courageous ride that will end in Los Angeles at Dodger Stadium. I am humbled by the kind words and thoughts of encouragement from so many people. It is truly amazing how this has brought so many together. What a great way to celebrate 230 years of freedom. I wish to thank the Patriot Guard Riders and their families who dedicate so much time and energy to ensure that families of Veterans and Service Members NEVER AGAIN have to suffer alone. I have a profound sense of pride to be a part of something so grand; without you, this would not be possible. Thanks to families of Veterans and Service Members for patiently waiting for their loved ones to return back home. You are the true heroes and the backbone of this great nation. Thanks to my beautiful wife Marie, my two boys, Jeremiah and Isaac, and my lovely niece, Elisa. You are my Heroes. Thanks to Daniel ?Onion? Johnson for coordination of the Ride; what a wild ride it?s been. To Brooks and Debbie Armstrong for accepting us into your family, I can?t say how much that means to me. To Mrs. Barbara Lee Monday, a Great American and Patriot: ?BARBARA LEE MONDAY: YOU MADE A GREAT PLAY?. To Rick Monday: Thanks for inspiring a new generation of Patriotism. Your actions are just as heroic today as they were thirty years ago. I sincerely hope I did not leave anyone out. I want to thank each of the Patriot Guard Riders for having guarded the flag with your life. The stories I have heard are incredible, and greater than anything I could have ever imagined.

Very respectfully,

Francisco Vasquez, SSG, U.S. Army

How inspiring is that!

Update on Camp Pendleton Eight

The Defense Attorneys are now starting to talk about the case.

First of all, according to how the dominent media, liberals/anti-war types and Amnesty International define torture, these 7 Marines and Navy Medic were tortured by NCIS.

Note how they were treated:

“When you put two NCIS agents in a room with a little 19-year-old kid and threaten him with the death penalty and call him a (expletive) liar for 2 1/2 hours and only give him water after he has signed the statement that’s been typed by an NCIS agent, I think that’s coercive,” Siegel said. “I don’t think you arrive at the truth that way; I think you arrive at whatever it is NCIS wants to arrive at.”

I know this also will shock you but sounds like motivation here could be MONEY. For the Iraqi family with the dead family member it took them 4 days to report the death to the Marines.

“If you had your brother’s body turned over and it was all shot up, wouldn’t you at least start with the people who are handing it over to you and say, `What happened here?’” Siegel said.

If nothing else for these Marines and Navy Medic there is questionable motivation here.

Defense attorneys Jeremiah Sullivan III and David Brahms said money could have been a motivation. They also said it is possible the relatives are sympathetic to the insurgents.

“What better way to undercut the American presence and to embarrass the Americans than to say this horrible act occurred and that these Marines without hesitation and in cold blood mowed down this disabled guy?”

Just remember this occurred in Anbar Province, a Sunni stronghold with a virulent anti-American/Coalition mentality.

NASCO(North America’s SuperCorridor Coalition) to build Super-Highway

This story keeps getting scarier.

Previous postings on this issue can be found:

SPP – The North American Union. It’s here, it’s now, it’s in the works!

NAFTA Superhighway

Amazing what can be done through regulation thus circumventing legislation (no involvement from Congress). As you see from the map below there’s a statement to use existing roadways but further down you will read about the expansion and buildout of new highways.  If it’s to use existing highways does that mean this transnational highway co-ops use from Americans?  NASCO has some doublespeake going on here.

NASCO Super Corridor

NASCO is “dedicated to developing the world’s first international, integrated and secure, multi-modal transportation system along the International Mid-Continent Trade and Transportation Corridor to improve both the trade competitiveness and quality of life in North America.”

Specifically, NASCO supports the corridor that encompasses Interstate Highways 35, 29 and 94, and “the significant east/west connectors to those highways in Canada, the United States, and Mexico.” That NASCO is organized around promoting NAFTA trade is obvious.

snip….To get a feel of the NAFTA corridor movement, we also reference CANAMEX, a trade organization that promotes a Western tri-lateral route utilizing I-19, I-10, I-93 and I-15 in the states of Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Idaho and Montana to link the three countries in trade. Another non-profit group, the North American Forum on Integration (NAFI), identifies four bands of NAFTA corridors (Pacific, West, East and Atlantic), all relying primarily upon internationalizing north-south existing interstate highways into NAFTA trade corridors.

snip…..According to the 4,000-page draft environmental impact statement, the plan is to build a 4,000-mile network of new super-highways that will be “up to 1,200 feet wide (at full build-out) with separate lanes for passenger vehicles (three in each direction) and trucks (two in each direction), six rail lines (separate lines in each direction for high-speed rail, commuter rail, and freight rail), and a 200-foot wide utility corridor.â€?

This is scheduled to begin in Texas.  I’m wondering how many residences and businesses are going to be lost in ‘takings’ for the public good to build these “international highways”.

On March 11, 2005, TxDOT signed a definitive agreement with Cintra Zachry, a limited partnership formed by Cintra Concesiones de Infraestructures de Transport in Spain and the San Antonio-based Zachry Construction Co. “to develop the Oklahoma to Mexico/Gulf Coast element of the Trans-Texas Corridor (TTC-35). This agreement calls for the Cintra-Zachry limited partnership to pay Texas $1.2 billion “for the long-term right to build and operate the initial segment as a toll facility. The initial TTC-35 segment is scheduled to be built roughly parallel to I-35 between Dallas and San Antonio. The final public hearings are scheduled in Texas for July and August.

You really need to read the series of articles by Corsi.  Each article I read by Corsi leaves me stunned by the purely brazen nature of this whole subjugation of the USA to the North American Union.  I also wonder, just who’s paying for these corridors?  Who’s responsible for maintaining these corridors?  Whether it’s the states, Feds or Mexico, Spain, Canada…..doesn’t matter because all enrage me.  There’s no winner for the US in any of the choices.  There’s more too.

Yet, in March 2005, Kansas City signed a cooperative pact with representatives from the Mexican state of Michoacan and with representatives from Lazaro Cardenas, a deep-port town on the Pacific coast south of the Baha peninsula, to increase the cargo volume between Lazaro Cardenas and Kansas City. The goal is to bring super-ships carrying 4,000 containers or more from China and the Far East into Mexico so the containers can be moved into the heart of the United States, bypassing the West Coast ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.

snip…As the brochure explains:

Shipments will be pre-screened in Southeast Asia and the shipper will send advance notification to Mexican and American Customs with the corresponding “pre-clearance information on the cargo. Upon arrival in Mexico, containers will pass through multiple X-ray and gamma ray screenings, allowing any containers with anomalies to quickly be removed for further inspection.

It’s the incremental agenda or the drip, drip, drip plan.  See, then you (American citizen) won’t really see the big picture impact of this deconstruction of the United States plan.

The plan to put the NAFTA Super-Highway is intended to be done incrementally, designed to stay below the radar of mainstream media attention. The full build-out of the Trans-Texas Corridor’s 4,000-mile planned network is projected to be completed in discrete stages, over the next 50 years. This gives plenty of time to expand the super-highway network incrementally, state-by-state up-and-down the various identified NAFTA corridors.

We should be enormously grateful to Dr. Jerome Corsi and Jim Gilchrist of the Minuteman Project.  In writing a book about the Minuteman Project they stumbled across this information and being the pitbulls these two people are, they wouldn’t let go.
