Looks like we need to send our "elected" to The Constitution 101 class. I don't remember seeing any coronation ceremony for any of them - not even on CNN.

A document written by the Rev. Samuel Rutherford provided a foundation stone for the fledgling government of the Republic. The document was a
rebuttal against the totalitarian idea of the Divine Right of Kings. It stated simply but powerfully the idea that no one, not even kings,
are above the law.

The concept was known as Lex Rex. It meant simply,
"The Law is King."

I am flabbergasted by the fact that the leaders of our two political parties, Dennis Hastert and Nancy Pelosi, have apparently washed the idea of Lex Rex down the drain. If they have their way, no one is safe in these United States of America anymore. Those in the House who spout their objections to the "raid" of Rep. Jefferson's office by the FBI need to remember that they have to answer to the citizens of the country come the first Tuesday in November. Then they will discover whether the law is king, or whether the members of the House are exempt from keeping the laws they pass.
