And it seems rather obvious that if the labor market in this country depends on migrant visas from Latin American countries, then why not allow for more such visas rather than create an 'amnesty' program? Military troops and armed/fenced borders just reeks of failure on every level. I agree that we simply aren’t enforcing the laws we have.
