Dixie Sluts Chicks’ Natalie Maines Rips Country Music, Fans, Bush….
Geez this woman is such an ingrate it’s unbelievable to me. She’s one of those people who forgot who got her “there”! Now she’s ripping Country Music Fans again and says pretty much she doesn’t care what they think. When asked what the other “Chicks” thought:
“So I’m pretty much done. They’ve shown their true colors. I like lots of country music, but as far as the industry and everything that happened… I couldn’t want to be farther away from that,” Maines told EW.
So - how do sisters Emily and Martie feel about this?
“Um… I don’t know,” answers Maines.

Does anyone listen to these people any more?

Since they don’t sell and records anymore I guess this is her only way to stay in the spotlight.
I really could care less about her, or Toby Keith’s politics. Musicians should STFU and entertain, it’s not like knowledge of chord structure gives you insight into political leadership.

I am glad the Dixie chicks spoke out. I commend them on using their free speech. I too am from Texas and ashame of Bush. I have several friends that vote for him again and are so disappointed in him now. All I can say is TOLD YOU SO!!! Was last nights speech a joke or what. We laughed at the fool for 51 minutes. He sure can say a lot about nothing.

Keesha-I don’t recall you ever having commented at my blog before so I’m confused on the “told you so” comment. Regarding the demise of the Chicks I look on it as “nature weeding out the stupid” again. I wonder how their music will sell as a rock category. I’m guessing not great. As for you, obviously there’s nothing to be done about your intelligence level.

Keesha:
The Dixie Chicks didn’t speak out. Natalie Mains “spoke out”.
You’re “ashame of Bush” and “have several friends that vote for him again”. What the hell does that mean? You call Bush a fool, yet you can’t write a coherent sentence.
Your inability to express yourself in English is rivaled only by your shortcomings in critical thinking.

Yep, I WAS a big fan, definitely past tense, as you said “they forgot who brung’em.”
As Larry the Cable Guy said…”Everybody’s mad at the Dixie Chicks. But I’m gonna tell you straight up: I think they’re pretty girls. I think they’re good singers. But I think that little fat one needs to shut up.'’
