She looks very innocent, well looks can be deceiving!

This little story reminds me of a Katy story but this is of the 4-legged devil variety. I went into town this morning to run an errand and as usual before “we” left I bugged her to do her business. This morning though she was just kind of meandering around sniffing and smelling and I was getting inpatient. I told again to get her job done, after 5 minutes I picked her up and put her in the basket which attaches to the front passenger seat. It’s nice, she can see out the window and I don’t have to worry about her flying off the seat if I have to stop suddenly. There’s a strap which you can snap onto the collar so the dog can’t get out of the basket but of course I never attach.

We get into town. I run into Target and am in there for about an hour. Come out to my vehicle, she of course is on the drivers seat looking out the window for me. I open the door, get in and tell her to get into her bed, which she does. It’s nice and warm out so I’ve got the window open all the way home. Once we get home I open the door and step out of the vehicle and the butt of my pants are all wet!! YIKES. I look at the drivers seat, not only did she pee on the seat but she also pooped. I sat in poop all the way home and didn’t realize it. GROSS and ICK and that bleepin’ mutt.

I still haven’t gotten all of the poop out of the leather seats since the leather isn’t smooth it’s ridged or something. I scrubbed and vacuumed the darn thing and can still smell it. Needless to say, from here on the strap will be attached to the collar. She won’t be getting out of her little basket.

Update: Looks like the little “innocent” one actually is sick. Last night we didn’t really sleep, it was more like napping for 30 minutes and then I’d clean up after her and repeat. She’s got it coming out of both ends. Yuck, poor little thang.
