Fake braces all the rage for Thai teens
I think I know a lot of people who wish this had been the fad when they had braces. Course theirs didn’t look as colorful and there was alot more metal. These look more like retainers to me.
Girls flashing multicolored metallic grins are regularly featured in teen magazines as braces have become more common in Thailand, transforming the dental gear into a fashion statement.
Rather than getting fitted for the real and expensive option, teens have been buying do-it-yourself kits in stores and selecting colored rubber bands to match their outfits or moods.
Those wacky crazy Thai’s!
My son’s orthodontist always had multi-colored bands on hand for his braces. Christmas they were green and red, Halloween they were orange and black. It was really kind of a cool way to make them “less ugly”.

Yeah, but CP these are Fake. They don’t need the braces, that’s what’s so bizarre about it.
