Democrat Campaigns - It’s Either Calling Their Opponet A Racist or A Nazi

Do you all remember Colleen Rowley? She’s the FBI Agent who supposedly was one of the “Whistleblowers” of the year according to Time Magazine. I should pretend I’m a NY Times columnist or LA Times columnist or CNN anchor or reporter and talk about her appearance but I don’t think I’ll stoop to […]

Dixie Sluts Chicks’ Natalie Maines Rips Country Music, Fans, Bush….

31 January 2006

Geez this woman is such an ingrate it’s unbelievable to me. She’s one of those people who forgot who got her “there”! Now she’s ripping Country Music Fans again and says pretty much she doesn’t care what they think. When asked what the other “Chicks” thought:
“So I’m pretty much done. They’ve shown […]

Nashville Immigration CandleLight Vigil

Here’s a few pictures from the vigil on Friday night, January 27th to show support for the bill the House of Representatives passed on Immigration Reform. The vigil was in the parking lot of Senator Bill Frist’s Office. I suppose there were maybe 300 people there, I’m guessing but Phil Valentine did try […]

Barret Report: 100 Redacted Pages Need To Be Released To Public

30 January 2006

With 100 pages of the Barret blacked out, it looks like the teeth of the report got pulled. The Senate needs to reverse the bill to black out those 100 pages. If nothing else will convince the Republican Senators then the politics the Democrats are throwing around should have done the trick. […]

Don’t Miss It…Another Episode from Buck Sgt.: Operation Enduring Boredom!

I’m starting to wonder if I don’t have a somewhat demented sense of humor, cause I found this really funny!
Operation Enduring Boredom: the Video Game
Utilizing the latest developments in first-person-shooter action, and based on the popular “Medal of Honor” game engine, OEB: the Forgotten Front requires you to navigate your way through twelve challenging tasks […]

It’s Always The One’s That Look So Innocent!

I want you to look at this face.

She looks very innocent, well looks can be deceiving!

This little story reminds me of a Katy story but this is of the 4-legged devil variety. I went into town this morning to run an errand and as usual before “we” left I bugged her to do her […]

Tracie Lee Dean is a woman who doesn’t give up and her dogged persistence through apathetic and bore-headed bureaucrats finally paid off. After significant road blocks she finally found a responsive law enforcement officer and a helpful Shell station worker, as a result a young missing girl was recovered. Kudos to Tracie.

Book Fraud? How About Risen, or the Clinton “Memoirs”?

27 January 2006

I watched the Oprah show yesterday, yes I admit it. I heard she was going to be doing the mea culpa with Frey. Little did I know that she would use Dowd, Rich and that little “I don’t support the troops” Joel Stein to talk about “ethics” and truth in writing. […]

Don’t Forget - Nashville Candlelight Vigil to Encourage the Senate to Pass House Version of Immigration Reform

27 January 2006

Here’s the description of the event for this Friday at 5:30 pm at Senator Frist’s Office. The more the merrier, Phil Valentine is expecting national media exposure to this event so a good turnout would display a show of strength. The weather is supposed to be mild, so bring the family. Also, […]

Fake braces all the rage for Thai teens

27 January 2006

I think I know a lot of people who wish this had been the fad when they had braces. Course theirs didn’t look as colorful and there was alot more metal. These look more like retainers to me.

Girls flashing multicolored metallic grins are regularly featured in teen magazines as braces have become more […]

Embed Review Report From 2003 Released

This is interesting. How much it cost to embed a reporter, the number of embeds disciplined and ousted, the positives and negatives from both the reporters view and the military view, what could be done better in the future among other points.
Here’s a hmmm little story though:
The report notes that in that […]

Remember “Black Hawk Down”? Remember Somalia? Too many people seem to have forgotten this incident.
Lance in Iraq gives us a reminder:
In September General Powell asked Aspin to approve the request of the U.S. commander in Somalia for tanks and armored vehicles for his forces. Aspin turned down the request. Shortly thereafter Aideed’s forces […]

The Good News & Bad News Story In Baghdad, Iraq

26 January 2006

Here’s a returning journalist (Chris Hondros) to Baghdad. What’s the good news? Well, how about the drive from the airport to Baghdad? It’s just a normal drive unlike the drive from a couple years ago. That’s why we don’t hear about it, there’s no bombs going off anymore.
That’s all that happened. […]

Nope The Mexican Army Never Crosses The Border Into The US!

I’d say somebody in DHS needs to wake and quit denying reality.
Men in Mexican military-style uniforms crossed the Rio Grande into the United States on a marijuana-smuggling foray, leading to an armed confrontation with Texas law officers, authorities said Tuesday. No shots were fired.
Of course Mexico is saying it’s imposters cause well you know those […]

Susanne Osthoff, 43, was released after a month in captivity on Dec 18. Their serial numbers matched those on notes paid to secure her release.

John McCain, Weak on Defense

Leave it to Mark Levin to get the title exactly right. Levin enumerates the instances where McCain fights a war like former President Clinton fought wars and that would be through the the legal system. Levin calls it “Weakening our position by fighting like Clinton did.”.

Aside from the snark attack in this column it’s actually somewhat insightful.
