Do you all remember Colleen Rowley? She’s the FBI Agent who supposedly was one of the “Whistleblowers” of the year according to Time Magazine. I should pretend I’m a NY Times columnist or LA Times columnist or CNN anchor or reporter and talk about her appearance but I don’t think I’ll stoop to the lowest common denominator like those hacks do. Time photo – Rowley is the one in the center. The second photo is the one retired FBI Agent Rowley approved to be put up on her campaign website. This is a photoshopped picture of Rowleys opponent in the Congressional race in Minnesota. Just so you understand who they have photoshopped to look like Nazi Col. Klinker from the old tv Hogan’s Heros show about Nazi Germany. This is Col. (ret. USMC) John Kline of whom I had mentioned here and here. Here’s a brief summary of John Kline’s career:

Although this marks his first elected office, Congressman Kline is familiar with Washington, where he served as a military aide to Presidents Carter and Reagan for part of his twenty-five years in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Kline’s responsibilities during this period included carrying the nuclear football; the package containing launch codes for a nuclear attack. He also advised our country’s senior civilian and military leadership, including the President. Throughout a military career from which he retired at the rank of Colonel, Mr. Kline served as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam, commanded all Marine aviation forces in Operation Restore Hope in Somalia, flew Marine One, the Presidential helicopter, and served as Program Development Officer at Headquarters Marine Corps.

Remember Rep. John Murtha? Remember how no one was allowed to question his military credentials without the Democrats crying foul! But it’s ok to photoshop John Kline.

I got the picture of John Kline from Minnesota Democrats Exposed. MDE also has a few other examples of the Democrat propensity to fling off the Nazi label on Republicans.
One bumper sticker from 2004 from the Minnesota Democrat Party headquarters in 2oo4 which says:

And also from MDE apparently the Democrat Underground has comments about Senator Norm Coleman:

“I suppose he heard Jesus forgave whores so that’s why he agreed to do this.”
“Amazing how one can be Jewish and a Nazi at the same time”

Most of you are probably not familiar with Norm Coleman, he was elected to the US Senate in 2002 and is Jewish.

There is no excuse from any Democrat to justify this kind of perverted and demonic attack on either of these individuals. Makes you wonder why the FBI appeared to have been such an inept and dysfunctional organization. Maybe it has to do with the left wing agents they had in their employ.

Geez this woman is such an ingrate it’s unbelievable to me. She’s one of those people who forgot who got her “there”! Now she’s ripping Country Music Fans again and says pretty much she doesn’t care what they think. When asked what the other “Chicks” thought:

“So I’m pretty much done. They’ve shown their true colors. I like lots of country music, but as far as the industry and everything that happened… I couldn’t want to be farther away from that,” Maines told EW.

So – how do sisters Emily and Martie feel about this?

“Um… I don’t know,” answers Maines.

Does anyone listen to these people any more?

Here’s a few pictures from the vigil on Friday night, January 27th to show support for the bill the House of Representatives passed on Immigration Reform. The vigil was in the parking lot of Senator Bill Frist’s Office. I suppose there were maybe 300 people there, I’m guessing but Phil Valentine did try to get people to sign a list to get a headcount.

Carl Whitaker who is the founder of the Tennessee Minutemen Chapter and is also running for Governor in the 2006 race. When I asked Whitaker what kind of Republican he was, his response was a “Conservative” Republican.

With 100 pages of the Barret blacked out, it looks like the teeth of the report got pulled. The Senate needs to reverse the bill to black out those 100 pages. If nothing else will convince the Republican Senators then the politics the Democrats are throwing around should have done the trick.

This month a report completed in 2004 by independent counsel David Barrett was made public. It documented the obstruction and impediment of justice that gave the former secretary of Housing and Urban Development a license to lie and cheat.

The term “made public” is a misnomer; 100-plus pages of the original 400-page report were “redacted” by court order.

She looks very innocent, well looks can be deceiving!

This little story reminds me of a Katy story but this is of the 4-legged devil variety. I went into town this morning to run an errand and as usual before “we” left I bugged her to do her business. This morning though she was just kind of meandering around sniffing and smelling and I was getting inpatient. I told again to get her job done, after 5 minutes I picked her up and put her in the basket which attaches to the front passenger seat. It’s nice, she can see out the window and I don’t have to worry about her flying off the seat if I have to stop suddenly. There’s a strap which you can snap onto the collar so the dog can’t get out of the basket but of course I never attach.

We get into town. I run into Target and am in there for about an hour. Come out to my vehicle, she of course is on the drivers seat looking out the window for me. I open the door, get in and tell her to get into her bed, which she does. It’s nice and warm out so I’ve got the window open all the way home. Once we get home I open the door and step out of the vehicle and the butt of my pants are all wet!! YIKES. I look at the drivers seat, not only did she pee on the seat but she also pooped. I sat in poop all the way home and didn’t realize it. GROSS and ICK and that bleepin’ mutt.

I still haven’t gotten all of the poop out of the leather seats since the leather isn’t smooth it’s ridged or something. I scrubbed and vacuumed the darn thing and can still smell it. Needless to say, from here on the strap will be attached to the collar. She won’t be getting out of her little basket.

Update: Looks like the little “innocent” one actually is sick. Last night we didn’t really sleep, it was more like napping for 30 minutes and then I’d clean up after her and repeat. She’s got it coming out of both ends. Yuck, poor little thang.

Tracie Lee Dean is a woman who doesn’t give up and her dogged persistence through apathetic and bore-headed bureaucrats finally paid off. After significant road blocks she finally found a responsive law enforcement officer and a helpful Shell station worker, as a result a young missing girl was recovered. Kudos to Tracie.

Instinct told her something was wrong

I watched the Oprah show yesterday, yes I admit it. I heard she was going to be doing the mea culpa with Frey. Little did I know that she would use Dowd, Rich and that little “I don’t support the troops” Joel Stein to talk about “ethics” and truth in writing. HA! The thoughts that passed through my mind was how about the Clintons? You telling me those autobiographies would pass the fact checking police? I highly doubt that, so people in glass houses dot dot dot….

I think their ideas and condemnations regarding Frey are on target though. Seems to me that both of the Clinton’s books should be reclassified though as fiction just like the vitrolic Rich and Dowd advocated for Frey’s book. I wonder if the Smoking Gun came out with the same fact checking on either of the Clinton’s books if the dominent media would even blink an eye? Highly doubtful.

Cliff Kincaid makes some excellent points about Risen’s book:

The Risen book, State of War, benefited from an illegal leak of classified information about an NSA spying program to uncover al-Qaeda operations on American soil.

The book has some other “revelations,” such as Risen’s claim that “some journalists” in Washington’s power circles are among those relying on “Saudi money or Saudi access” and, in the process, have ignored or suppressed information “about Saudi links to Islamic extremism.” This sensational charge is on page 177 of his book, but he names no names. Isn’t that interesting? Why Is Risen allowed to get away with making such a controversial charge without backing it up with evidence? Are any of these journalists at the Times or the Washington Post?

AIM Column – Another Book Fraud? – January 27, 2006

Here’s the description of the event for this Friday at 5:30 pm at Senator Frist’s Office. The more the merrier, Phil Valentine is expecting national media exposure to this event so a good turnout would display a show of strength. The weather is supposed to be mild, so bring the family. Also, you might want to byoc (bring your own candle).

The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) is sponsoring a candlelight vigil in front of Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist’s Nashville office, Friday January 27, 2006 at 5:30pm. The ‘Save The American Worker’ vigil is not a protest against Senator Frist but a reminder that Americans are watching the United States Senate and we expect them to pass the House version of immigration reform passed in December. The Senate is considering several different versions of reform. It is highly possible that a guest worker/amnesty program will be included in the Senate version. This is unacceptable. A guest worker/amnesty program would forgive millions of illegal aliens for breaking the law and encourage millions more to do the same thing. It has been tried on several different occasions, each time with the same disastrous results.
Illegal immigration costs American taxpayers billions of dollars every year. It’s time Congress passed comprehensive legislation that will begin to roll back to never-ending tide of illegal immigration.

Vigil

I think I know a lot of people who wish this had been the fad when they had braces. Course theirs didn’t look as colorful and there was alot more metal. These look more like retainers to me.

Girls flashing multicolored metallic grins are regularly featured in teen magazines as braces have become more common in Thailand, transforming the dental gear into a fashion statement.

Rather than getting fitted for the real and expensive option, teens have been buying do-it-yourself kits in stores and selecting colored rubber bands to match their outfits or moods.
