					<description>Sounds like he's got his router set up for only a limited number if IP's in the DHCP section. He just needs to enable Dynamic DHCP and open another IP address.

Then you'll need to make sure he doesn't have MAC filters set up to limit the lan to certain computers. If he does disable the filter, add your NIC MAC to the list, and then re-enable.
