So Amnesty International says:

"Women have been subjected to sexual threats by members of the US-led forces and some women detained by US forces have been sexually abused, possibly raped."

Amnesty said several women detained by US troops had spoken in interviews with the group of beatings, threats of rape, humiliating treatment and long periods of solitary confinement
.

I'd sure like to see some documentation on this, these are all allegations which I think have serious credibility issues. I also find it difficult to believe that US Soldiers are the cause of the dangerous situation. Wouldn't that be caused by the terrorists [oh yeah, I forgot they're Insurrgents] who are without care murdering Iraqi's. Seems to me that there was some pretty damning evidence found in the mosques's where the boy cleric Sadr had kidnapped Iraqi's held.

But of course, like the venerable institution the United Nations, I'm sure that Amnesty International wouldn't lie or exaggerate these stories. I'm also sure that all allegations have been checked for their veracity. Uhuh....sure. I suppose all of these 'supposed Iraqi women' would prefer to have Saddam Hussein and his sons and henchman back in the helm. We know that Amnesty International has gone after the United Nations with the same verve and vigor regarding Daphur and within the UN itself. Well, I could be wrong about Daphur since those incidents have only been known to be happening for the last year and a half. Come on, gotta give poor old Amnesty International a break here. They need a bit more time to go after their brethern Kofi Anan. Poor Kofi has all this corruption breaking all around him so they want to cut him some slack.

I personally am sick and tired of these sick organizations and their anti-US/anti-US Military agendas. I sure hope they get no American taxpayer funding in any way shape or form!|||110904382262085871|||Iraqi women 'no better off'
