12/30/2004 03:30:04 PM|||Toni|||I really like this story from a Marine Mom. She tells how her son and his buddies used a female care pckg which contained some tampons to save another Marines life. So, I had sent some mini pads to a couple of my soldiers who I had been supporting for quite a few months. They kindly told me um "that's ok, we really don't need them". See, I had read about a soldier who used them for stopping the sweat from getting in his eyes. He'd put one on the inside of his helmet and it would then catch the sweat on his forehead.
