10/01/2004 02:30:20 PM|||Toni|||Ok, so this is what I thought about this afternoon with the debate last night. John Kerry saying he could rid the world of nuclear proliferation in 4 yrs sounded an awful like someone trying to name that tune to best the other contestant. Most of the debate I listened to since I was packing boxes with my back to the tv. I just kept hearing JK talk about his service in VN and wrong war at the wrong time in the wrong place and he could do it better and faster and he's just wonderful. So, John Kerry, I have one thing to say to you: "Get a reality check" and "leave your monstrous sized ego at the door". I heard him denigrate current allies (yeah - I mean real allies that ARE assisting us in the GWOT). He seems to think that a year of talks with the UN (Useless Nothings) was not enough. Looks like John Edwards offer to the Iranians of the nuclear materials they need would happen with Mr. John Kerry cause he seems to see things thru the prism of Madeline Albright and could be dancing with Kim JungIll if he were only made President. If I had been President Bush I would have been looking pained too if I were thinking and this guy thinks he should be president????? The list from last night in regards to John Kerry is too long to detail (hahaha) guess I'm taking a page from Mr Kerry in his list of all that President Bush has done wrong cause I don't recall any specifics that Kerry gave last night other than there were not enough troops in Afghanistan. Course in regards to that specific I think we can just look back to the Soviets to see how that worked for them in Afghanistan! Not real well. From what I'm hearing today from people about the debate it seems to be all over the board. Whatever prism a person is looking thru colors the outcome of the debate. All in all most seem to think it was a draw which to me doesn't bode well for Kerry. He's supposed to be the shining whining debater. I think the first and last debate are the ones people will pay the most attention to and the one in the middle will not be that big of a deal except to those of us who are news junkies or pundits who make their living as talking heads.
